<div>The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD (&ldquo;The HARRIS CENTER&rdquo;) is looking for a Licensed Therapist (LPHA) to join our Youth Crisis Outreach Team (YCOT). Under the general direction of the Program Director, Clinical Team Lead, or designated staff, the LPHA performs clinical activities such as independent assessments and service interventions as directed by the treatment plan and/or identified consumer need(s). This position interfaces with Treatment Teams both inpatient and outpatient and authorizes the medical necessity of services, as indicated. This position is responsible for providing the following services: Crisis Intervention, Mental Health Assessments, case management and follow-up, and liaison between the Agency and the community. YCOT interfaces with other programs in the Agency, law enforcement, and the community

What will you do:
<ul><li>
The YCOT LPHA performs community-based crisis assessments to determine needed level of care, assess for safety, and formulate diagnosis.</li><li>
The YCOT LPHA provides crisis counseling and intervention to individuals to reduce symptoms, provide education and prevent admission to a more restrictive environment.</li><li>
The YCOT LPHA collaboratively creates a treatment plan with the consumer to outline treatment goals.</li><li>
The YCOT LPHA provides case management activities to assist consumers in gaining and coordinating access to necessary care and services in accordance with treatment plan goals.</li><li>
The YCOT LPHA monitors consumer progress with treatment goals and linkage to services.</li><li>
The YCOT LPHA educates family members so they may understand the individual&rsquo;s mental health symptoms, treatment and assist with referring to community resources.</li><li>
The YCOT LPHA provides information on mental health, the importance of medications and treatment compliance, and other clinical related information to individual, family, community as needed.</li><li>
The YCOT LPHA completes electronic documentation each work day as outlined in MCOT Operating Guidelines. This documentation becomes part of the medical record for the Agency.
</li><li>The YCOT LPHA, when interacting with the community and colleagues, follows the key principles of a trauma informed approach (i.e. safety, trustworthiness and transparency, peer support, collaboration and mutuality, empowerment, voice and choice, cultural, historical, and gender issues).</li><li>
The YCOT LPHA meets divisional and program productivity standards.</li><li>
The YCOT LPHA performs related work as assigned and adapts to changing work requirements.</li><li>
The YCOT LPHA demonstrates ethical conduct in all professional activities.</li><li>
The YCOT LPHA complies with Agency policies and procedures and MCOT Operating Guidelines.</li><li>
The YCOT LPHA will be designated crisis staff once weekly. Responsibilities include entering and contacting all new referrals, answering office telephone calls, and responding to Emergent and Urgent classified referrals.</li><li>
The YCOT LPHA is available to provide any assistance not listed above to the Agency, Program Director, Clinical Team Lead, or staff as requested and required.</li></ul>

What qualifications you will need:

Education:
<ul><li>
Master&rsquo;s degree (M.A.) from four-year accredited college or university with a major in a social, behavior, or human service field, including but not limited to: psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, human development, and educational psychology.</li></ul>

Experience:
<ul><li>Must have 2 years experiencing working in a mental health setting.</li></ul>

Other Key Qualifications
<ul><li> Clinical license through the State of Texas for one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Licenser credentials plus one to two years of clinical experience post Master&rsquo;s degree preferred. Will be required to work several on call shifts on weekend and overnight as well as holidays to support a 24/7 365 crisis program.
</li></ul><ul><li> Must maintain a valid Texas Driver&rsquo;s License and be insurable under Agency policy.</li></ul>

Welcome to the Ocular Clinical Trials at Vision Optique. We are proud to lead the way in ocular clinical research and are committed to helping advance the future of eye care. Since 2020, we&rsquo;ve conducted 20+ pre-clinical, Phase I-IV clinical trials, and we continue to actively enroll participants in new studies.We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) who will work on site to help ensure that quality research is conducted in accordance with the Sponsor protocol, FDA Regulations, and ICH/GCP guidelines and to provide the best quality data.The CRC will play a key role in managing day-to-day operations of optometry-related clinical studies, including participant recruitment, informed consent, study visits, data collection, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has prior experience in clinical research, excellent organizational skills, and an interest in advancing vision science and ocular health.Responsibilities<ul><li>Complete all sponsor-required and study-specific training (protocols, amendments, manuals, EDC/IVRS, and electronic systems) in a timely manner.</li><li>Conduct study visits and protocol-required procedures with the PI/Sub-I, ensuring accurate and timely documentation per ALCOA-C standards.</li><li>Perform study-related assessments (e.g., visual acuity testing, ocular imaging, intraocular pressure measurement) under PI supervision.</li><li>Recruit, screen, and enroll eligible participants; obtain informed consent and ensure participant understanding of study procedures, risks, and benefits.</li><li>Support subject retention through clear communication and engagement with research participants.</li><li>Collect, enter, and verify data in eCRFs; resolve queries promptly per sponsor and site guidelines.</li><li>Manage study visit scheduling, follow-ups, and participant communications.</li><li>Maintain regulatory binders and prepare/submit required IRB and sponsor documentation on schedule.</li><li>Ensure proper handling of investigational product (IP), including storage, temperature monitoring, calibration, inventory, and compliance with pharmacy manuals.</li><li>Liaise with investigators, research staff, administrative personnel, participants, sponsors, CROs, and monitors to ensure smooth study operations.</li><li>Adhere to GCP, FDA, IRB, and institutional regulations at all times.</li><li>Contribute to study reports and presentations as needed.</li><li>Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in life sciences, healthcare, optometry, or related field</li><li>1&ndash;2 years of experience in clinical research or healthcare setting</li><li>Knowledge of clinical research regulations (GCP, ICH guidelines, FDA) with GCP and Biomed certifications</li><li>Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain attention to detail</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Familiarity with ophthalmic diagnostic tools and procedures</li><li>Phlebotomy skills and/or experience with biological sample collection</li></ul>Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person

Performs clinical research support functions as assigned by the clinical trial manager including but not limited to informed consent for non-interventional studies, data abstraction and recording in CRFs.
</li><li>Makes phone calls to study patients for appointment reminders and follow-up.
</li><li>Transports blood and tissue samples. Processes and packages lab samples for shipping to sponsor or storage at site per the study manual of operations.

Completes required case report forms and resolves queries. Ensures accurate data collection, documentation organization, and safety of study volunteers. Ensures accurate regulatory filing.
