<p><b>Job Summary:</b> The Complex Chief Engineer is responsible for managing the general and preventative maintenance functions of the hotel to ensure that Guest Service and sustainability standards are consistently achieved and maintained throughout the hotel structure. This role is crucial in maintaining the operational integrity of the hotel, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally and that the property remains in excellent condition for Guests. The Complex Chief Engineer will oversee a variety of maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, conducting room inspections, identifying repair needs, and managing small projects or Property Improvement Plans (PIPs). In this position, the Complex Chief Engineer will select, train, schedule, coach, and support Associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with Rebel?s core values. The Complex Chief Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining the building's exterior and ensuring the hotel grounds have excellent curb appeal. Additionally, the Complex Chief Engineer will perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis and keep accurate records of all maintenance activities. The Complex Chief Engineer will also be tasked with testing, examining, and maintaining the hotel's life safety systems to ensure they are always operational. This position requires adherence to local, state, and federal codes, as well as following sustainability guidelines related to Rebel?s safety program. The Complex Chief Engineer will also be expected to practice safe work habits and follow OSHA standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.</p>
<p><b>Job Responsibilities:</b></p>
<p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p>
<ul><li>Plans and coordinates the work of engineering and security staff</li>
<li>Oversees engineering staff and ensures that they meet goals and objectives.</li>
<li>Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.</li>

<li>Work with payroll system to ensure staff is paid accurately on a weekly basis</li>

Position Objective:</p><p>
The Senior Manager, Special Projects, will lead complex, unique initiatives within the Rolling Stock Division and provide executive support to the Chief of Rolling Stock. The incumbent in this role is expected to understand the macro picture of the MTA&rsquo;s Rolling Stock business needs, ensuring alignment across MTA operating, legal, procurement, finance, data, and other departments in support of the Rolling Stock program&rsquo;s mandate to achieve the best value for the MTA&rsquo;s rolling stock acquisitions and ensure dedicated attention to the acquisition and lifetime costs of these strategic assets. Additionally, this incumbent will support the storytelling around the Rolling Stock business to internal and external audiences, from stakeholder and board briefings to external presentations.</p><p>

Set the agenda for and lead recurring leadership meetings</li><li>
