</li><li>Oversee staff&rsquo;s performance of checks and calculations for quantity payment items used in preparation of contract payments.
</li><li>Participate in project meetings and ensure the contractors and supervision field staff are conforming to all health and safety standards including any safety reporting requirements.
</li><li>Oversee the scheduling and performance of Special Inspections.
</li><li>Address any field concerns and schedule impacts with the MTA Project Management and the assigned Project Manager.
</li><li>Work with the Contractor to minimize disruptions to the public in compliance with project phasing plans, MPT plans and permits.
</li><li>Perform Constructability reviews and pro-actively review the contract documents to anticipate, identify, and discuss potential project issues with Project Manager and/or MTA management.
</li><li>Keep the Project Manager and/or MTA management informed on all contract discrepancies and differing field conditions.
</li><li>Electronic entry of data and reports into web-based construction management software application.
 
Provide mentoring to MTA Small Business Contractors for the necessary performance and submissions to meet project completion dates.
</li><li>Exposure to railroad construction environments and year-round weather conditions.
 
Potential for working days, nights, and weekends.
</li><li>Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP&rsquo;s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications
<ul><li>High School Diploma
</li><li>Minimum of 11 years of relevant post education experience in discipline with prior construction management experience.
</li><li>Excellent communication skills and managed or monitored at least five (5) projects of at least two (2) million dollars each.
</li><li>Experience in infrastructure projects for MTA or similar public agency.
</li><li>Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret contract documents such as specifications, contract drawings and shop drawings.
</li><li>Document and report project issues and performance through Electronic Project
</li><li>Management programs, preferably Asite and/or Procore.
</li><li>Training and experience in safety and quality assurance.
</li>Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP&rsquo;s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Silver Maple is seeking a talented Woodworks Project Manager (PM) to lead custom cabinet projects from initial client consultation through final installation. This role combines design expertise, project planning, budgeting, and client relationship management to deliver exceptional cabinetry solutions. With a background in architecture, design, and/or cabinetry, the PM translates client vision into detailed specifications, develops comprehensive scopes of work, manages project budgets, and coordinates all aspects of production and installation. This position serves as the primary client contact, bridging the gap between design intent and production reality, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Candidates with demonstrated experience finding creative solutions to the inevitable problems that arise in custom cabinetry and millwork projects will be prioritized. 
The Job:
<ul>
<li>Client Relations: Meet with clients to understand their needs and vision for custom cabinetry projects, providing expert guidance on design possibilities and material options. Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining clear communication and managing expectations</li>
<li>Design &amp; Documentation: Create detailed cabinet designs using CAD software, produce comprehensive construction drawings, elevations, sections, and shop drawings. Specify materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories while ensuring designs meet relevant building codes and standards</li>
<li>Estimation &amp; Budgeting: Prepare accurate project budgets including materials, labor, hardware, finishing, installation, and overhead costs. Track expenses against budget, identify variances, and maintain target profit margins. Source and negotiate with material suppliers, hardware vendors, and subcontractors</li>
<li>Execution: Develop comprehensive scopes of work and detailed project schedules for design, fabrication, finishing, and installation phases. Coordinate with the Production Floor Manager to ensure adequate shop capacity, materials, and manpower. Process and document change orders with updated costs and schedule impacts</li>
<li>Production &amp; Installation: Work closely with the Production Floor Manager to ensure designs are manufactured to specification. Conduct regular site visits during installation, coordinate logistics with other trades, and manage project completion, including final inspections, punch lists, and client walkthroughs</li>
<li>Process: Willingness to leverage Procore for project management and follow or improve existing processes</li>
<li>Travel: Ability to travel as needed to client sites for consultations, site assessments, and installation oversight</li></ul> 


Preferred Skills:

<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in architecture, interior design, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>
<li>Minimum of 3&ndash;5 years of experience managing custom cabinet, millwork, or construction projects</li>
