Position Overview
The ServiceNow Summer Intern will support the ServiceNow team by executing testing activities, creating documentation, building dashboards and assisting with workflow and requirements management. The ServiceNow Summer Intern will gain hands-on experience across the platform.
Duties &amp; Responsibilities

ISLG is recruiting up to 2 (two) CUNY undergraduate and/or graduate student data science intern to support the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation&rsquo;s Safety and Justice Challenge (SJC) , an initiative to reduce over-incarceration by changing the way America thinks about and uses jails. ISLG serves as the primary data and research partner for the SJC. Among ISLG&rsquo;s responsibilities is providing data, measurement, and analytic support to participating cities and counties across the country. This support includes the collection, cleaning, validation, and management of administrative criminal legal system case-level data and contributes to the broader research and evaluation agenda of the Challenge.
The interns will work closely with data and research staff to translate practical data processing needs into programming work &ndash; this may include 1) developing syntax to clean, validate, and standardize administrative data files and 2) conducting data diagnostics to assess data quality, identify discrepancies, and ensure consistency across datasets.
The core of this internship is creating community and peer-to-peer learning among ISLG interns across Institute departments; to foster community we will have bi-weekly, in-person convenings that will cover a range of topics such as relationship building, project management, etc.
We are hiring interns to work at ISLG from May 26th to July 30th. Interns will have a hybrid work schedule and report to a designated ISLG staff member. Interns will work on a range of tasks within the project(s) listed above as well as others not listed here. Tasks that the interns may be responsible for include:
<ul><li>Supporting the standardization of administrative case-level data across multiple source systems.
</li><li>Evaluating data quality, completeness, and consistency to support research and operational use.
</li><li>Assisting with the development and documentation of structured data assets (e.g., relational databases, data inventories, and data documentation).
</li><li>Translating analytic and data management needs into reproducible programming workflows.
</li><li>Developing and implementing scripts to clean, process, validate, and standardize administrative data.

 Within the Management and Operations Division of OMB, the Policy and Operations Research Task Force is primarily responsible for analyzing fiscal and economic impacts of the City&rsquo;s policy initiatives and evaluating City agencies&rsquo; operations and programs, as well as conducting ad-hoc quantitative analysis. The Data &amp; Analytics Unit conducts data-intensive work to facilitate these tasks &amp; modernize data workflows for other task forces at the agency. Primary responsibilities of the unit include building and maintaining an automated cloud pipeline that can collect, process and reflect budget-related data. Reporting to the Help Desk Manager, the Service Desk Technician will provide first level troubleshooting support for a variety of computing support issues while ensuring the highest-level customer service. This role will provide day to day support for application, hardware and networking issues. The Service Desk technician should be able to handle a minimum of 60 customer contacts a day while maintaining a 90% first call resolution.
Duties &amp; Responsibilities
<ul><li>Acts as the first point of contact for all IT issues, quickly responding customers request for IT service within SLA guidelines.</li>
<li>Serves as primary support for end user access management requests including new employee technology onboarding, account setups, access changes and terminations. Follows established audit procedures to ensure all employees receive proper access as authorized by their job function.</li>
<li>Accurately triages and categorizes incidents and requests coming into the Service Desk, ensuring all tickets are properly documented in accordance with IT quality guidelines.</li>
<li>Uses remote tools (Go to assist, SCCM) to further diagnose and troubleshoot issues at remote locations.</li>
<li>Appropriately routes issues not resolved on initial contact to the correct team for resolution, ensuring all troubleshooting and triage steps are documented in ticketing before reassignment.</li>
<li>Assists in documentation of Service Desk troubleshooting procedures that can be shared with the team&rsquo;s knowledge base.</li>
<li>Assists in identification of trends in incidents, recommending recurring issues for problem management process.</li>
<li>To ensure continuity of essential services, this role maybe required to work variable shifts and/or overtime depending on business</li>

Position Overview
The Data Analyst Intern will support initiatives that strengthen the Plan&rsquo;s clinical quality and its ability to deliver timely, accurate insights to internal teams. This work supports HEDIS, the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set, which is the national framework used to assess how effectively health plans provide preventive care, chronic condition management, and other essential services.
During the internship, the student will contribute to improving how quality data is accessed and used across the department, which may include designing components of a self‑service analytics resource, developing tools that streamline data request workflows, or helping create more efficient ways to track and monitor information needs. The intern will gain hands‑on experience with healthcare analytics, data preparation, visualization, and user‑focused solution design.
