Your Role &amp; Responsibilities
Social Media Planning<ul><li>
Responsible for the development and stewardship of paid social media plans as proofed by the Media Strategist and Sr. Media Manager.</li><li>
Manages timelines and communication effectively to superiors, internal teams and external vendor partners</li><li>
Has a working knowledge of social media ad managers on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Reddit and Snapchat</li><li>
Effectively establish budget allocations amongst team in the pre-planning window reporting rationale and estimates up to the Media Strategist</li><li>
Evaluate shifts in digital marketing strategy and be able to quickly recommend strategic social media adjustments to align with overall goals</li><li>
Proactively stays on top of industry trends and insights to share with the team, seeks out forums to gain knowledge of the business and their respective trade</li></ul>
Execution/Reporting &ndash;<ul><li>
Must have experience building and managing awareness and conversion campaigns within ad managers on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Reddit and Snapchat</li><li>
Proficient understanding of campaign optimization and bidding functions, audience creation and ad formats for awareness, web conversion and mobile app install campaigns</li><li>
Meticulously organizes performance information to gain insights and formulate conclusions that allow us to make informed decisions in a timely manner</li><li>
Frequently review social campaign performance and evaluate how partners, audiences and placements align against key performance indicators and benchmarks</li><li>
Proactively manages key findings up to the Media Strategist and Sr. Media Manager with ability to explain rationale</li><li>
Lead the review of social reporting in weekly performance review meetings to present campaign effectiveness, performance trends and implications for campaign improvement to CNN Digital Marketing partners</li><li>
Evaluate organic performance trends and consider how it impacts the paid social performance</li><li>
Works with Media Strategist and Sr. Media Manager to develop formal presentations on industry trends and campaign effectiveness/post campaign results</li></ul>
Account Service -<ul><li>
Attend relevant marketing meetings as designated by the Sr. Media Manager</li><li>
Coordinates and participates in meetings with internal teams including Product Marketing and creative teams to ensure thinking is aligned and material deliverables are effectively managed</li><li>
Effective communicator in translating paid social media strategy, tactics and performance to our marketing partners, seek ways to adapt presentation skills that resonate with the intended audience</li><li>
Proactively builds relationships and report with internal colleagues and external vendor partners, exudes professionalism in all aspects of daily communication</li></ul>
Qualifications &amp; Experience 
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>2+ years agency/media planning experience preferred.</li><li>Bachelor's college degree preferably in Advertising, Marketing or a related field</li><li>Experience planning and buying performance-driven social media with KPI-based goals</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Proficient analytical skills</li></ul>
