EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE:

We are looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to support our growing team. This role will be responsible for managing core accounting functions and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in daily operations, month-end close, and financial compliance. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a small team environment and enjoys a mix of independent work and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

<li>Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and bank reconciliations.</li>
<li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.</li>
<li>Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.</li>
<li>Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.</li>
<li>Assist in preparing for audits and coordinating with external auditors as needed.</li>
<li>Recommend and help implement process improvements to streamline operations.</li>
<li>Provide financial analysis and reporting to the VP of Finance and leadership team.</li>
<li>Handle ad hoc projects and financial tasks as needed.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).</li>
<li>CPA certification is a plus, but not required.</li>
<li>3+ years of progressive accounting experience.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.</li>
<li>Proficient with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.</li>
<li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.</li>
<li>Comfortable working in a small team and independently.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Skills:
<ul>
