 GENERAL PURPOSE

 The Design &amp; Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering global construction initiatives within the MillerKnoll portfolio of brands. This position works closely with Architecture, Interiors, Operations and other key contributors to develop and deliver new and refurbished locations. As the key interface for our business partners in relation to the design and construction of the built environment, the Design and Construction Project Manager ensures that projects meet expectations experientially, on time and on budget.

   Leads the project from strategic development through completion as it relates to architecture and construction.
  </li>

   Partners with key internal business contributors to establish project budgets, manage activities within budgets, and report results to the business.

   Manages workflow throughout the organization by effectively influencing decisions and conversations both inside and outside of the group.

   Negotiates terms, executes, and administers vendor construction contracts in accordance with corporate goals, budget constraints, and program expectations.

   With the support of the executive architect, actively manages the General Contractor for each project, approving change orders and payments and driving the schedule for on-time delivery.

   As part of the project management team, fosters relationships with vendors and contractors to deliver quality results. Where appropriate, sources new vendors and onboards them.

   As part of the project management team, develops key construction metrics to assess overall effectiveness and ROI.

Job Summary
<br>The Development Project Manager is responsible for supporting and managing the full pre-construction process for assigned new store development projects, from site handoff through construction start. This role is responsible for hands-on project coordination and execution, including developing and tracking schedules, managing project pacing, and supporting execution plans to help deliver projects on schedule, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. Develop and maintain project execution plans and schedules for assigned projects, tracking timelines and key milestones in alignment with landlord delivery requirements and departmental priorities.

Serve as a primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned projects, coordinating with internal teams, external consultants, and landlords under the guidance of senior development leadership.

Maintain and update project schedules, budgets, and status reports for assigned projects; communicate risks, changes, and delays clearly to senior leadership.

Support entitlement and permitting activities for assigned sites, coordinating with consultants, municipalities, and internal partners to advance approvals.

Participate in regional pipeline meetings; track assigned action items and support follow-through.

Lead and support internal project kickoffs meetings and due diligence reviews for assigned projects, assisting with preparation, documentation, and next-step tracking.

Establish and monitor development budgets for assigned projects, flagging variances or concerns to leadership.

The Space Planning and Interior Design Manager is responsible for performing a wide range of administrative and professional duties in connection with the design and selection of formal and informal furnishings, finishes and equipment, and the development of space programs and conceptual space plans, to support capital project plan design and construction, and related operational activities for the division of Operations &amp; Facilities. Duties require a high level of expertise in space planning, commercial interior design and through knowledge of finishes and furnishings utilized in higher education settings.

The Space Planning &amp; Interior Design Manager performs a variety of campus interface and technical assignments to aid in the capital improvements daily operations related to space planning, design research and coordination, procurement, installation reviews, and implementing of design standards supporting formal and informal higher education environments. Duties will focus on layouts, finish selections, equipment and furnishings selections for offices, residence hall areas, classrooms and commons areas within our multi-campus facilities. <b>Primary Duties and Responsibilities</b></p>

<li>Explores options and makes recommendations for FFE delivery methods, installations and operational training</li>

<li>Assists in the administrative and project management duties relative to the capital improvement daily operations of the division of Operations and Facilities</li>

In this role, you will report to the Design Director, Pepsi Lipton Partnership and collaborate with other design team members to drive design thinking from ideation thru concept development, refinement, and execution in 360 brand design and innovation. You will be contributing across three iconic brands across the North American tea portfolio as well as supporting regional brands and the PLP.</div>
Responsibilities:

Brand Design Development:
</div><ul><li>Support the visual identity for brands in the Pepsi Lipton portfolio, reporting to the Design Director and other design leaders across brand, product, packaging, equipment, marketing, and advertising.</li><li>
Generate creative design proposals (visions, scenarios, concepts) in order to visualize the desired output and share it with internal and external team members.</li><li>
Participate in research activities and effectively translate customer needs into actionable design strategy (must be able to execute those requirements into design solutions). Help drive to final design recommendations, decisions, and design approval to enable artwork execution/production phases. Ensure a thorough consideration of all project variables and that the final solution will perform as planned.
</li></ul><div>Design Project Management:
</div><ul><li>Partner across disciplines within PepsiCo and external suppliers to ensure design assets are developed and delivered with quality, value, and on-time.</li><li>
Inform and align stakeholders throughout the creative process, regularly reviewing the status of projects with appropriate leadership to verify that project expectations are met.

Supports the PepsiCo Design &amp; Innovation organization in building and cultivating a robust external design network.</li></ul><div>
Compensation and Benefits:</div><ul><li>
The expected compensation range for this position is between $88,200 - $147,650.</li><li>

Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.</li><li>

Qualifications:

Key Skills/Experience Required</div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in design required with minimum 5+ years of hands-on brand and packaging/graphic design experience.</li><li>
Should have full-time agency side and/or client-side experience</li><li>
Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop/ Illustrator skills are a must.) Familiarity with PowerPoint, Miro preferred.</li><li>
Strong typography skills, conceptual design skills, and design strategy experience</li><li>
360 brand design experience (i.e., print, packaging, digital, environmental, experiential) Background and understanding of brand/packaging/graphic design as well as an understanding of social/ digital design preferred.</li><li>
Ability to work in an agile, dynamic work environment with a start-up mentality (comfortable with risk, uncertainty and change)</li><li>
Strong portfolio of design work showcasing projects both print and digital projects
</li><li>Strong stakeholder relationship management - effectively influence at all levels in the organization, as well as across regions and functions</li><li>
