The Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA) are a cabinet-level agency within the District of Columbia government, committed to the safety, permanence, and well-being of children and families residing in the District of Columbia. Charged with protecting child victims and those at risk of abuse and neglect, CFSA fosters collaborations within its administrations to deliver exceptional family-focused services to the community and its residents.
This position is in the Kinship and Placement Administration (KPA), Office of the Deputy Director for the Office of In-Home and Out-of-Home Care (OIHOHC) of the Child and Family Services Agency. Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Provide an array of clinical support to the Office of the Deputy Director for the Office of In-Home and Out-of-Home Care (OIHOHC).</li><li>
Consults and partners regularly or as needed, with the Office of the Deputy Director for Hotline and Investigations.</li><li>
Supports the case carrying Social Worker and responds to unresolved situations requiring urgent in-home crisis interventions.</li><li>
Performs fieldwork to include, but not limited to, visits to group homes, birth parent homes, and resource parent homes.</li><li>
Performs counseling and therapy to address social, environmental, emotional, and medical problems.</li><li>

Education and Experience:
 
High school diploma supplemented with post-secondary coursework in subjects such as social work, human services, gerontology, or one of the social or behavioral sciences, business or related field, and relevant work experience in public administrative support work OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

The Clinical Research Budgets Analyst plays a critical role in supporting sponsored clinical trials by ensuring the timely and accurate preparation and maintenance of budget templates. This includes conducting comparative reviews of sponsor‑provided budgets and setting up study payment milestones within the Clinical Trial Management System. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple research programs and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Prepare and maintain accurate budget templates for sponsored clinical trials.</li>
<li>Conduct comparative reviews of budgets offered by study sponsors.</li>
<li>Set up study payment milestones in the Clinical Trial Management System.</li>
<li>Review New Study routing forms and essential study start‑up documents.</li>
<li>Perform itemized cost analyses and interpret clinical protocols to develop budget milestones.</li>
<li>Provide accurate patient cost descriptions for the Informed Consent Form (ICF) to be submitted to the IRB.</li>
<li>Update budgets, milestones, and ICF information as needed to reflect contract or protocol amendments.</li>
<li>Work closely with the coverage analysis team, contract analysts, regulatory team, program managers, and internal finance groups.</li>
<li>Manage high‑volume workflow across multiple research programs, each with unique processes and requirements.</li>
