WSP is currently initiating a search for a General Superintendent to be based out of NY MTA Headquarters in lower Manhattan. Be a part of our PMCM Team and a member of a growing organization that meets our client&rsquo;s objectives and solves their challenges. This position is working as part of the MTA&rsquo;s Small Business Development and Mentoring Program managing inspection staff at numerous construction project sites, inspecting and overseeing construction work in the field but also mentoring and training Small Business Contractors and project CM staff on how to perform the tasks necessary for completing MTA projects. Projects are throughout the New York metropolitan area supporting all MTA Agencies with selected candidate reporting directly to project sites and visiting multiple sites daily.
Your Impact
<ul><li>Working independently in the field at numerous project construction sites monitoring the contractual compliance of all construction activities and the performance of inspection and supervisory staff assigned to individual projects.
</li><li>Provide direction and guidance to Contractors and project staff for all construction operations with a primary focus on enforcing MTA safety requirements and quality assurance.
</li><li>Schedule and assign personnel to individual projects insuring attendance at daily start of shift project toolbox meetings and end of shift meetings.

Required Qualifications
<ul><li>High School Diploma
</li><li>Minimum of 11 years of relevant post education experience in discipline with prior construction management experience.

</li><li>Experience in infrastructure projects for MTA or similar public agency.

The program operates under the umbrella of the MTA&rsquo;s Small Business Development Program (SBDP), which is dedicated to advancing the capabilities of emerging and experienced construction contractors through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on training, and technical guidance in prime contracts with MTA agencies. By supporting and mentoring small businesses, this position plays a pivotal role in cultivating successful enterprises, broadening the pool of competitive, qualified contractors, and fostering economic growth, particularly within disadvantaged communities. The Small Business Mentoring Projects span the New York metropolitan area, serving all MTA agencies&mdash;including New York City Transit, MTA Bus Company, Bridges and Tunnels, Long Island Rail Road, and Metro-North Railroad&mdash;with typical contract values ranging from $1 million to $5 million.

 An Interiors Coordinator works within the APPARATUS Interiors team across multiple categories of built environments, moving deftly between the ephemeral and long term. <div>Part Time Nanny required for a Williamsburg family with a toddler son (b. June 2024), starting March (flexible for the right candidate). Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties and interacting with their son in an engaging, loving and age-appropriate way while also being an helpful, extra set of hands around the home. To be successful, you will need to be experienced with young toddler care and looking to partner long term with a hands-on and present SAHM. An active and warm nanny with knowledge of ages and stages of child growth, development is key to this role. The ideal candidate is proactive, able to complete general household duties independently (laundry, meal preparation, organization, etc) and maintain all common areas in a clean and tidy state (family does have a biweekly housekeeper for deep cleans). Friendly and outgoing candidates looking for a team oriented dynamic would be a great match for this family! The family is looking for a partnership with a nanny who is playful, silly and creative with a cultural understanding.

Start date: March, 2026 (flexible for the right candidate)
Days/times: Ideal schedule to fall between 25-35 hours a week with general hours expected to land between 8am to 2pm. No other regular evening or weekend hours expected - candidates comfortable traveling with the family for vacations (with advance notice) would be ideal.

Conditions: $28 - $32 per hour* plus weekly OMNY, sick/personal days, public holidays and two weeks paid leave per year.
