Overview 
The American Arbitration Association (AAA), the leading provider of alternative dispute resolution services, is seeking a skilled and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist supports employees and management across a wide range of HR functions, with a strong emphasis on administering employee leave programs in a multi-state environment and managing complex employee relations matters. What will I be doing?

 Job Purpose
 
 
 
 Based in both the Client Services Center in Jersey City, NJ and the Corporate Office in New York, NY, the Human Resources Manager performs a wide variety of duties throughout the employee lifecycle ensuring that all is handled confidentiality with tact and maturity. This individual should have strong interpersonal skills coupled with strong initiative, independent judgement and possess strong analytical and organizational skills. This role will work closely with the Senior Director, Client Services Center and Corporate Partners.
 
 
 Job responsibilities
 
 
 
 Generalist Administration
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Implement Human Resources policies regarding administration, benefits, compensation, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review processes and policies and make proposals for improvement as necessary
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage employee relations cases in partnership with legal department
 </li>
 <li>
 Streamline processes for efficiency ensure accurate results
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead Next Generation talent programs, aligning with organizational goals and talent needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support various HR projects and initiatives as needed.

 Talent Acquisition
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Handle all of the Full life-cycle recruitment for Client Services Center roles
 </li>
 <li>
 Continually identify, interview and pipeline strong talent to join the Client Services Center
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure a qualitative recruitment validation process
 </li>
 <li>
 Schedule and conduct virtual or in person interviews, coordinate additional interview schedules, conduct reference check, extension of offers and follow-up to candidates
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure background checks are complete
 
 
 </li>

 Monitor compliance with all federal and state wage and hour regulations and make recommendations to meet the requirements

 Manage ICR process for Client Services Center

 Partner with HR controller in the staff cost budget planning

 At least 5 years of relevant experience

 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree preferred

 Strong knowledge of US labor laws, compensation, benefits and payroll

 Occasional travel may be required

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 </li>

 Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills

 Additional information
 
 
 The selected candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $110,000-$120,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility. The salary offered will be dependent upon the candidate&rsquo;s relevant skills and experience.
