The Human Resources Manager will champion and manage the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources (HR) Department, with a focus on leading the organizational workplace to meet goals and outcomes based on talent acquisition, engagement, and development.

Supervision of the Human Resources Generalists, maintaining regular departmental and 1:1 meeting.</li><li>
Guide and facilitate the HR Department to be a supportive administrator and thought partner to all levels of the organization.</li><li>
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and modern technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.</li><li>
Delegate projects and ad hoc responsibilities to direct reports as necessary.</li><li>

Supports the Senior Director of Organizational Excellence with implementing policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.

 The HR Manager plays a pivotal role in driving effective human resources practices across the organization by managing day-to-day HR operations, supporting employee lifecycle processes, and executing strategic initiatives in collaboration with the HR Director. Summary/Objective

In keeping with our organization&rsquo;s goal of improving the lives of the Guests we serve, the Human Resource Manager manages the day-to-day operations of the HR Department and responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources function. 1. Communicates changes in personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed.

2. Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures compliance.

3. Coordinates or conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation.

4. Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.

5. Processes payroll on a regular basis and ensures accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

6. Administers workers compensation program and works closely with workers compensation carrier to ensure claims are processed timely.

7. Administers the employee benefits program and assists with annual employee benefits open enrollment process.

8. Assists department managers with disciplinary procedures and ensures disciplinary actions are administered fairly and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

9. Establishes, develops, maintains and updates filing system for the Human Resources Department.

12. Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies.

17. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and in-services as directed.

19. Be knowledgeable in data collection, data analysis methodology, and performance improvement methods needed to support and lead performance improvement projects.

20. Identify opportunities for improvement through analysis of data, observation of operations, and consultation with leadership and staff.

24. Participate in compliance training as scheduled and adhere to compliance plan.

Required Education and Experience Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resource Management or a similar field. Two years&rsquo; experience in a H.R. role, preferably in a health care setting. Preferred Education and Experience PHR or SPHR certification. 5 years of related experience.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local requirements and regulations.

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position.
