 The Director of Information Technology is responsible for leading the Information Technology function and advancing the company&rsquo;s enterprise technology strategy. This role provides strategic direction, operational oversight, and technical leadership for the planning, development, implementation, security, and support of IT systems across the organization.
 
 
 The Director of Information Technology ensures that Audubon&rsquo;s technology infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity practices, and support services align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, operational needs, and long-term growth plans.  Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field required.

 10+ years total IT experience; 5+ years leadership experience.
 </li>

 Preferred Certifications: CISM, CISSP, ITIL, or PMP
 </li>

 Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems, computer networks, servers, hardware, software, cybersecurity, cloud services, and business applications.
 </li>

Summary
 
We are seeking an experienced Manager of IT Infrastructure and Systems to lead the integration of complex Texas Heart Institute (THI) infrastructure and cybersecurity programs into existing Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) operations. This role will partner closely with THI stakeholders to assess technical requirements, ensure continuity of services, and guide the migration and consolidation of applications, servers, networks, telephony, and related systems into BCM’s environment.
 
Job Duties
 On behalf of two IT "Phase 2" projects, works with THI stakeholders to ensure all interests are accounted for and attended to as all user technologies and supporting systems/infrastructure are migrated to BCM technologies/systems. This may require working with 15+ BCM / THI technologists, professional services firm, Legacy THI stakeholders as well as Common Spirit (provides support to some existing THI technologies).
 Oversees the transition of all clinical and research security controls into BCM’s cybersecurity framework, ensuring full alignment with institutional standards.
 Identifies and prioritizes risks, develops and harmonizes GRC controls, and advances SecOps practices in coordination with BCM’s Managed Security Services team.
 Understands how tech is implemented and used and ensures proper controls are established to ensure continued regulatory compliance when fully migrated to BCM operations.
 As systems migrate, orchestrates handling of security controls with BCM Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) which monitors all BCM systems for threats/attacks which are detected.
 Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

 Bachelor's degree in a related field. Four years of relevant experience may substitute for degree requirement.

 GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), CISM — ISACA Certified Information Security Manager, CISSP — (ISC)²
 Experience in IT architecture, controls authoring/auditing, vulnerability management, red/blue teaming.
 Experience working across matrixed teams.
 Familiarity with formal project management structures.
 Familiarity with regulatory standards HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and GDPR.
 Additionally, advanced Excel and/or basic Power BI skills.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES 
 
Coordination of Divisional Initiatives: Performs critical functions in support of assigned Divisional strategic initiatives through structured coordination, data gathering and interpretation, and synthesizing of information. Monitors, tracks, and coordinates assigned initiatives, ensuring alignment with initiative goals and planned deliverables/commitments; this includes timely and accurate tracking of initiatives, preparing background materials, monitoring deadlines, coordinating with internal stakeholders for input, and ensuring seamless communication between institutional teams, initiative stakeholders, and external organizations. Through thoughtful, strategic, and innovative thinking, ensures operational continuity and alignment of all assigned projects.
 
 
Travel Management: Reviews calendars for accuracy to coordinate travel arrangements for the Chief of Police and other assigned executives as necessary; arranges airfare, ground transportation, confirms reservations, requests agendas, prepares itineraries, makes hotel accommodations, and communicates and retrieves details. Calculates expenses, prepares expense reports/reimbursement requests of assigned personnel. Serves as liaison with external parties and organizations in preparation of UTP-H Executive's attendance and participation at various meetings and symposiums. Maintain key event tracking document detailing upcoming obligations and status of travel arrangements of the UTP-H executive team. 
 
Operational Support &amp; Leadership: Utilizes computer software to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools to support the goals, projects, and initiatives of the Office of the Chief of Police. Models strong organizational skills, decision making capability, and managing competing priorities, while working independently. Provides supervision, leadership, and direction to assigned staff to effectively support divisional initiatives and the priorities of UTP-H executives. As a subject matter expert in administrative processes, collaborates with management to streamline processes, evaluate workflows, and identify opportunities for efficiencies. Makes recommendations to leadership and oversees the implementation of administrative processes.
 
 
Other Duties as Assigned: Other duties include, but are not limited to, emergency recall and/or may be required to remain onsite or work extended hours during man-made or natural disasters and unusual occurrences on campus. Occasionally, local or long-distance travel may be required for training or other business purposes.

Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience. Completion of both programs can be substituted for a maximum of two years of supervisory or management experience. 
Preferred: Experience coordinating complex projects and strategic initiatives, tracking deliverables and deadlines, preparing executive-level communications and presentation materials, managing travel logistics and expense reporting, utilizing Microsoft Office applications and data visualization tools, leading administrative operations and staff, improving business processes and workflows, and supporting executive leadership in a fast-paced environment.

The Network Architect is a senior individual contributor responsible for designing and evolving Fervo's network architecture across corporate IT, hybrid cloud, and site environments. This role is the subject-matter expert for the Fortinet Security Fabric, with deep ownership of FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiNAC, and Fortinet Secure SD-WAN.
