MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting in carrying out the maintenance processes of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance. QUALITY/SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS<ul><li>
Accurately demonstrates EKG rhythm interpretation. As appropriate, monitors O2 sats, understanding parameters when to call a nurse.
</li><li>Promotes quality patient care by vigilant identification of changes or abnormalities in EKG morphology. Takes corrective action or communicates immediately, when appropriate, to proper personnel.
</li><li>Provides and accurately processes documents, quality data, and related centralized telemetry monitor (CTM) records.
</li><li>Ensures all patient care equipment has had QC performed as required, is in safe working order prior to use and documents findings accordingly. Reports any malfunctions to management and regularly practices preventive maintenance procedures; calls for service if needed.
</li><li>Reports &ldquo;near misses&rdquo; and inputs errors promptly into TAPS to improve processes and identify trends. Contributes to identification of corrective action and improvement activities and contributes to meeting department and hospital targets for quality and safety.

Who Would I Interact With?</h1> 
This position interacts daily with Customers, Service Advisors, other Technicians, Parts Associates, Sales Associates, and Managers, just to name a few.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader"> 
What are the day-to-day responsibilities?</h2><ul><li>
Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards, to drive Customer loyalty.</li><li>
Communicating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.</li><li>
Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing repair, if authorized by the Customer.</li><li>
Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of Customer vehicles.</li><li>
Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.</li><li>
Maintaining an inventory of normal Technician&rsquo;s tools not normally inventoried by the Service department as &ldquo;special tools.&rdquo;</li><li>
Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.</li><li>
