CNN&rsquo;s digital video production team creates original video content for all CNN digital platforms. We write, produce, shoot and edit, working collaboratively across the organization. We are looking for a weekend Senior Producer who will be a key member of the CNN video organization, leading the weekend team that produces news video for all of CNN&rsquo;s digital platforms.
Your New Role...
This role will primarily be responsible for overseeing the team&rsquo;s weekend coverage. The Senior producer will monitor the news of the day, making assignments and overseeing scripts and edits. The Senior Producer will coordinate closely with newsgathering teams across the globe to bring in the most compelling content and ensure audience needs are met across all digital platforms. They will make smart editorial decisions quickly to best serve the audience with what&rsquo;s new.
They should also be prepared to oversee content while seamlessly stepping in to support scripting, video editing and publishing as needed. Newspath North Region Producer 
CBS Newspath is seeking a Producer with a strong commitment to journalism to help coordinate news production and newsgathering operations for its North Regional team. This position helps manage the network's response to breaking news and responds to video and editorial requests from CBS broadcasts, owned stations, affiliates and clients. Excellent people/customer service skills are required. The Producer is also responsible for clipping and publishing video and scripts and assisting in the transmission and distribution of live video, edited video and correspondent packages. 
The candidate must have experience in working with sources to confirm and verify facts and video elements, especially during breaking news. 
The person in this position will work directly with stations/affiliates in the Northeast and Midwest parts of the United States, including New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois. A strong knowledge of weather, politics, the economy, and other topics that impact this region is required. 
Candidate must be familiar with all major social media platforms and vehicles for engaging audiences on a digital level. This includes - but is not limited to - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Part of this position&rsquo;s editorial responsibilities is to be able to spot viral and pre-trending content and turn it around for our brand. You must be well-versed in the feel and best practices for social-friendly videos (including rights &amp; clearances). 
The position includes weekend and nightside responsibilities.

Your New Role... 
 
Are you a storyteller? Do you want to be integral in delivering news as it happens to a global audience? If so, then this is your job. The Producer is a part of our frontline in domestic newsgathering, developing our key talent. We break news, tell stories and find stories in a fast-paced environment. 
 
Your Role Accountabilities... 
 
The Producer is responsible for generating and executing creative, original storytelling and helping to curate data driven segments. 
 
They will work with CNN's Chief Data Analyst Harry Enten and will be responsible for piloting and producing original content for streaming platforms, as well as helping to oversee Harry's daily data focused linear segments. 
 
They identify and develops story lines, set up shoots as well as shoot material themselves at times, and oversee edits. 
 
Some travel may be required, and the producer must be ready to collaborate with editors, bookers, show producers and graphic artists. 
 
Qualifications &amp; Experience...<ul><li>
At least 3-5 years hands on video producing experience.</li><li>
Basic knowledge of editing on premiere.</li><li>
Extensive all platform journalism background, able to produce distinct material for CNN across multiple platforms.</li><li>
Must possess great research and digging skills.</li><li>
Ability to multi-task, producer may be expected to assist with multiple projects during the same time period.</li><li>
Ability to work in a fast-paced news environment that is 24 hours/365 days a year, including occasional weekends.</li></ul>
