Leveraging an AI-first approach, the Senior Manager - Real Estate Technology Infrastructure will be a bridge between our global company vision and the physical technology deployed across our international portfolio. Strategic Sourcing: Identify, vet, and manage global and regional vendors for building automation, networking, security systems, and related.</li><li>
Performance Governance: Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for third-party service providers.</li><li>
Contract Management: Partner with Strategic Sourcing to negotiate enterprise-wide agreements that leverage our 25-country+ scale to drive cost efficiencies. Evaluate vendor proposals, quotes, licensing models, and support options; develop comparison materials and provide cost-risk tradeoff analysis to support leadership decision-making. Develop and maintain infrastructure standards for building networks, cybersecurity, and integrated systems to ensure consistency across all regions.</li><li>
Standardization: Create technical design guidelines that architects and general contractors must follow during the development or retrofit phase. Own the design, validation, and enforcement of building network and infrastructure standards for property environments, including wireless, switching, firewalls, and site connectivity. Incorporate security and risk considerations into infrastructure architecture decisions, including firewall design, redundancy models, failover strategies, and secure remote administration.</li><li>
Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a technical lead between Technology, Management Services, Engineering, and Construction teams. Maintain portfolio-level visibility of infrastructure deployments, site readiness, remediation efforts, and transition status using enterprise service and project management tools. Ensure complete and accurate documentation, inventories, and configuration records are maintained to support audits, investigations, incident response, and ongoing operations. Support infrastructure requirements for physical security systems, building automation systems, and other safety-critical environments.</li><li>
Cybersecurity: Securing &quot;connected&quot; building assets, implementing network segmentation, and managing vulnerability patching for hardware. Security Control Systems: Standards for IP-CCTV, cloud-based Access Control, and visitor management systems. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li><li>
You will contribute to oversight and governance across the following critical OT areas: Building Integration &amp; Automation: BMS/BAS, lighting controls, and IoT sensor integration via protocols like BACnet, Modbus, and MQTT. Coordinate with business units and joint venture partners for insurance programs required pursuant to contract or other local obligations;</li><li>
Support the company&rsquo;s major capital projects, for both contract review and construction insurance requirements;</li><li>
Consider the effective use of captives for the required insurance;</li><li>
Arrange and administer other unique insurance programs which may be required in special circumstances;</li><li>
Develop and apply insurance subject matter expertise to advise internal teams on potential risks and coverage requirements for specific assets;</li><li>
Assist in formulating the tender documents and provide guidance in the tender evaluation and selection process;</li><li>
Support commercial teams involved with various transactions, including divestitures or acquisitions.</li></ul><p></p><p>
Professional Development and Stakeholder Management</p><ul><li>
Remain current with insurance marketplace trends and developments to ensure awareness of available coverages, changes in insurance law and major legal decisions;</li><li>
Develop and maintain working relationships with business units, peers and external stakeholders (brokers, underwriters, loss adjusters);</li><li>
Provide guidance to business units on Chevron&rsquo;s insurance principles and philosophy, and assist with questions relating to Chevron&rsquo;s insurance approach;</li><li>
Prepare ad-hoc presentations and analyses as requested.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Required Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor's or higher degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or related field;</li><li>
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in corporate insurance, risk management, insurance brokerage, underwriting, or an insurance company environment.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex insurance issues and effectively communicate recommendations to business stakeholders.</li><li>
Experience reviewing contractual insurance requirements and risk transfer provisions, with a strong understanding of insurance fundamentals, coverage structures, and risk allocation principles sufficient to evaluate contractual exposures and provide practical business recommendations.</li><li>
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including to Chevron operating locations worldwide, when required.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Preferred Qualifications</b>:</p><ul><li>
Professional insurance designations (e.g., CPCU, ARM, ARe, CRM) are beneficial but not required.</li><li>
Experience supporting energy, marine, industrial, or large-scale manufacturing operations and related capital projects is preferred.</li><li>
Knowledge of the design, development, placement, and administration of insurance programs utilizing both commercial insurance markets and captive insurance structures.</li><li>
Broad understanding of insurance programs and coverages commonly used in the energy industry and other large, complex multinational organizations.</li><li>
Experience or specialized knowledge in one or more of the following areas: directors and officers (D&amp;O), energy, marine, aviation, construction, or specialty insurance programs.</li><li>
Experience with surety, self-insured claims, or captive insurance programs is beneficial.</li><li>
Familiarity with risks and insurance considerations associated with emerging energy businesses, including hydrogen, CCUS, SAF, biofuels, and related technologies.</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.</li><li>
Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.</li><li>
Self-starter with sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail.</li><li>
Ability to build effective relationships across functions and organizational levels, work collaboratively with stakeholders, influence without authority, and deliver on commitments.</li><li>
Comfortable utilizing a variety of technologies and applications, including Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.</li><li>
Ability to evaluate complex situations, recognize ambiguity, ask thoughtful questions, and develop data-driven recommendations and conclusions.</li><li>
Experience leveraging digital tools, data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled technologies to improve efficiency, enhance analysis, support decision making, and streamline business processes.</li></ul><p></p><p>
