Job Responsibilities<ul><li>

Job Description
We are seeking a Senior ML Engineer / Data Scientist to join a 14-member Agile POD supporting the Bank of America AI/ML engagement. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying Large Language Model (LLM) and Generative AI solutions that drive intelligent automation and data-driven decision-making across banking operations.
**This role requires being onsite 3 days per week in Plano, TX. This role has a 5 days away mandate per quarter by the client.**</div>
 
<div>Basic Qualifications<ul><li>
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science and Machine Learning Engineering</li><li>
Minimum 2+ years of direct experience working with LLMs, Generative AI, or NLP solutions in a production environment (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, LLaMA, Mistral or similar)</li><li>
Experience building LLM-powered applications such as chatbots, summarization, classification, and document extraction.</li><li>
Proficiency in prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and fine-tuning techniques</li><li>
Bachelor's Degree</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Experience in BFSI domain.
</li><li>Exposure to LLM-as-a-Judge evaluation frameworks.
</li><li>Knowledge of responsible AI and model explainability (SHAP, LIME).
</li><li>Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery. Azure ML Studio, Databricks, or Snowflake experience.</li></ul>
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills with ability to work across onshore/offshore teams and client stakeholders. Self-starter comfortable in fast-paced Agile POD environments<div>
