The Assistant Project Manager &ndash; Interior Design supports the planning, design coordination, execution, and closeout of high-rise residential projects, with a primary focus on interior design implementation. This role ensures design intent is executed accurately and aligned with budget, schedule, and company standards.

What Will You Do?<ul><li>
Assist in initiation, planning, execution, and closeout of high-rise residential projects.</li><li>
Coordinate designers, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.</li><li>
Develop and maintain interior project schedules and monitor critical path items.</li><li>
Assist with budgeting, cost estimating, and value engineering for interior scopes.</li><li>
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontractor invoices.</li><li>
Lead finish palettes, material selections, and FF&amp;E specifications.</li><li>
Review reflected ceiling plans, lighting plans, elevations, and interior details.</li><li>
Oversee FF&amp;E procurement and installation.</li><li>
Conduct field verifications and maintain punch lists.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with ADA and building codes.</li><li>
Support quality control and resolve field design issues.</li><li>
Participate in post-project reviews.</li></ul>
Interior Design &amp; Technical Oversight<ul><li>
Lead and coordinate finish palettes, materials selections, and FFE&amp;F specification for residential units amenities, and common areas</li><li>
Review and manager construction drawings including reflected ceilings plans, lighting plans, electrical plans, and interior elevations.</li><li>
Ensure interior design documentation aligns with architectural drawings and construction requirements.</li><li>
Oversee procurement, bidding, and installation of FF&amp;E packages</li><li>
Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with design intent</li><li>
Conduct field verifications to ensure finishes and installations meet design specifications</li><li>
Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA requirements, and applicable regulations</li><li>
Stay current with residential market trends, materials, and high-rise design standards</li></ul>
Pre-Construction &amp; Budget Management<ul><li>
Assist with quantity take-offs and bid packages for interior scopes</li><li>
Perform cost analysis of material selections and recommend value-engineering solutions</li><li>
Maintain project cost databases and track interior budget performance</li><li>
Prequalify vendors and subcontractors for finish trades</li><li>
Draft and administer subcontracts related to interior scopes</li></ul>
Field Engineering &amp; Quality Control<ul><li>
Support overall quality control for interior finishes and detailing</li><li>
Conduct site walks to verify installations align with drawings and specifications</li></ul>
What You Bring<ul><li>
Minimum 3 years of Project Engineer experience</li><li>
Experience in ground up high rise construction.</li><li>
Associate&rsquo;s degree or higher in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred</li><li>
Strong knowledge of construction methods, detailing, and building codes</li><li>
Proficiency in MS Project, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Windows</li><li>
Ability to guide, direct, and coordinate a department with five or more employees</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to effectively run a department in an efficient manner</li><li>
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret prints, architectural drawings, financial and job cost reports</li><li>
Excellent knowledge of the industry and trends impacting the business</li><li>
Excellent customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>
Excellent oral and written communication skills</li></ul><ul><li>
