What You'll Be Doing:
As a Harpoon Beer Captain, you'll be at the heart of our pop-up operations in Boston Common, serving up not just our craft beers but also a great atmosphere. This role is perfect for someone who loves being outdoors and engaging directly with customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:<ul><li>
Engaging with guests to share knowledge about Harpoon's beers and food offerings, making recommendations that enhance their experience.</li><li>
Handling beer pouring and basic food service with enthusiasm and accuracy, ensuring all guests feel welcomed and taken care of.</li><li>
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards, especially in a fast-paced outdoor setting.</li><li>
Managing the setup and breakdown of the pop-up space, including moving and changing kegs, and operating draft equipment.</li><li>
Contributing to team efforts during special events or peak times to ensure seamless service.</li><li>
Monitoring the space to ensure a safe and welcoming environment, including checking IDs, enforcing alcohol service standards, and proactively addressing any safety or security concerns.</li></ul>
You're Probably a Match If:<ul><li>
No need to be Tom Cruise from Cocktail, we are looking for nothing more that great energy, excitement and willingness to provide the BEST guest experience</li><li>
You possess or are willing to obtain TIPS certification</li><li>
You are physically able to lift 50 pounds to shoulder height occasionally and stand for prolonged periods.</li><li>
Your schedule is flexible, able to accommodate evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts.</li><li>
You thrive in dynamic environments and are capable of bending, stooping, reaching, and moving quickly as required.</li><li>
You have a genuine passion for craft beer and hospitality</li></ul>
