This position is an Independent Contractor (1099) role. The instructor is responsible for all applicable taxes, insurance, and business-related expenses associated with independent contractor status.

The overall purpose of the Behavioral Health Advocate (BHA) is to improve the enrollee's ability to remain stable in the community and out of the hospital. BHAs engage people in the treatment process and assist them to access the appropriate community services so they can pursue their treatment goals in the community and avoid institutionalization. This position is also designed to be a direct clinical liaison between health plan staff and the clinical network. This is a field-based position in Manhattan providing case management / care coordination for adults enrolled in the Medicaid program. You will spend 80% of the time meeting with members at hospitals, clinical facilities, community sites, and/or their homes. The remaining 20% is telephonic work at home. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm - no weekends, evenings, or holidays. Due to business needs, current residency in or near Manhattan is required. 
Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Identify and provide community service linkage</li><li>
Assist enrollees with aftercare appointments</li><li>
Provide subsequent member follow-up as determined by individual member needs</li><li>

About the Role

Maven is looking for an organized, creator-focused intern to support influencer marketing and community engagement for Maven Consumer. You'll work directly with the Senior Manager of Brand Marketing on outreach, database management, and community activation.

This is a 3-month internship running from August through November, 10-15 hours per week.

What You'll Work On
<ul>
<li>Research and identify creators, influencers, and brand advocates aligned with Maven's target audience, using AI-assisted tools to build lists and surface emerging creators</li>
<li>Support influencer outreach and day-to-day creator communications, including drafting outreach copy</li>
<li>Maintain influencer databases, campaign trackers, and partnership reporting documents</li>
<li>Monitor creator content and collect performance data to inform ongoing strategy</li>
<li>Support Maven's ambassador program, including communications and activation logistics</li>
<li>Monitor community channels (comments, DMs, forums) and flag recurring themes or engagement opportunities</li>
</ul>
What You'll Bring
<ul>
<li>Familiarity with the creator and influencer landscape with a POV on who's breaking through and why</li>
<li>Comfort using AI tools to speed up research, draft outreach, and organize information</li>
<li>Strong written communication skills, including the ability to draft clear outreach from scratch</li>
<li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail, comfortable owning a tracker and keeping it current</li>
<li>Proactive and self-directed</li>
<li>Experience with influencer or community work through coursework, personal projects, or prior internships is a plus</li>
<li>Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field</li>
</ul>
The compensation rate for this role is expected to be $20/hour.
