 This is a short-format enrichment program designed to be interactive, fun, and accessible for beginners, while still allowing room for creativity and more advanced learners.

 Students will learn how to design and build 3D models using Tinkercad, including:

JOUR 321 Visual Journalism teaches students how to gain an understanding of visual journalism through theory and practical application while exploring current and emerging story forms.
Applicants should be able to teach students how to use/shoot video for digital platforms, principles of photography, design for web and mobile platforms, and the roles each play in interactive and engaging storytelling. An emphasis will be placed on narrative, documentary-style video, and visual stories for web and social media.
Applicants should also be familiar with the elements of design related to typography, layout, audience engagement, and user interface as they apply to journalistic story forms across platforms.
