Skills and Requirements: Minimum High School Diploma, some College preferred. 2-3 years previous experience in the same or related position. Requires a working knowledge of food and restaurant services, policies, and operations. Ability to read, count, add, subtract, write, and record numbers. Ability and skill to perform simple computer data entry. Excellent communication skills in English. Accuracy and speed sufficient to process deposits and change orders. Ability to work alone for long periods of time. Ability to repetitively perform proper bending and lifting techniques to handle up to 50 pounds. May require knowledge of computer equipment or other technical devices or broad knowledge in several operational areas. Izakaya Hi is a Japanese Pub-style restaurant that also has extensive Korean selections. We average 150 takeout order per day (~30 for lunch, ~120 for dinner), so we need help packaging all these orders. We have a very large menu, so you'll need to know the menu inside and out to ensure order accuracy.Base pay starts at $11 per hour, but you also receive tips from direct customer orders placed on the phone or in person. This will average to $13+ per hour.
