The Massachusetts General Hospital Diabetes Research Center, in partnership with the department of nursing, seeks a highly motivated Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) I. This role is split between 30 hours per week supporting a study evaluating a weighted blanket innovation in the medical ICU (inpatient) and 10 hours per week contributing to diabetes clinical research in the outpatient setting. The position offers direct experience with research participants and opportunities to collaborate with nursing, physicians, and the clinical research teams.<p></p><p><b><br>

We are seeking a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator II at the Corrigan Minehan Heart Center Clinical Research Program in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. The Heart Center has a dynamic and growing program in clinical and translational research, dedicated to advancing our understanding of a wide range of cardiovascular diseases and innovative interventions. The individual hired for this position will work as an integral member of a diverse team of researchers to ensure the successful execution of groundbreaking cardiovascular clinical trials.<br>

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities may vary according to projects, but include the following:<br>
<ul><li>Manages trials under the supervision of the PI, working towards independent execution of clinical trials</li><li>Maintains a good understanding of the study protocols and study start-up/closeout process</li><li>Orients and trains junior team members on the study protocols as appropriate</li><li>Subject recruitment and enrollment.</li><li>Maintenance of trial IRB and regulatory documentation.</li><li>Study finance management.</li><li>Acting as liaison with internal and external collaborators and sponsors to move trials forward.
