PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
 The ACT programs provide an integrated set of evidenced based treatment, rehabilitation, case management and support services to individuals residing in NYC, in Shelter programs, and/or living in supportive housing programs or their own residences in the community who are diagnosed with severe mental illness and whose needs have not been well met by more traditional service delivery approaches. Through a mobile, multi-disciplinary team of staff, recipients are supported in their recovery through an individualized, person-centered model of care.
 
POSITION OVERVIEW: 
This multi- faceted position works directly with adults living with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and substance use disorders (SUD) living in NYC. In addition to providing direct care, this position provides administrative oversight and support to the treatment team to ensure the delivery of services is in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements. Clinical Coordinators use a recovery oriented approach to link recipients to the services they need to obtain housing and to achieve wellness self-management and increasing independence. Working in a team setting and primarily in the community, Clinical Coordinators assess risk and needs, develop person centered care plans, provide care management services, track and arrange appointments, educate clients and coordinate other aspects of clients’ health and community services. Creative Intern, Design

We are seeking a design intern for a 10-week summer internship program running from Monday, June 8 through Friday, August 14. To be considered, candidates must be a current senior, post graduate student, or recent graduate.

If chosen, you will have the opportunity to work with some of Edelman's largest clients and learn from Edelman&rsquo;s award-winning Creative teams. Our growing creative teams are the masterminds behind some of the world&rsquo;s most talked about work. Whether we're teaming up with RZA to replace an outdated and racist ice cream jingle, fighting for intersectional environmental justice with TAZO Tea, or creating a hotel for the world's most devoted Taco Bell fans, the work we create is designed to capture attention and get people talking. It&rsquo;s not enough to be culturally relevant&mdash;our briefs demand that we change culture around us. At Edelman, our creative teams conceptualize Earned-first ideas, which will be a foundational part of the ideation process. 
Our Designer will render creative depictions of programming ideas, produce gorgeous images to tell stories, and transform sometimes text-heavy slides into graphic representations of all that we can do as a firm. They&rsquo;ll not only be able to imagine creative solutions, but describe their intent. They&rsquo;ll also counsel teams on what can and can&rsquo;t be done in a given time period, collaborate with other designers and art directors, and command a toolbox of skills to quickly and efficiently transform undesigned content into beautiful documents.
It will be important to stay current on design trends, identify and implement the coolest, newest creative ideas. It is also important that this designer is inclusive in the creative, allowing collaboration and meaningful exchange between design and account teams&mdash;all the while helping to execute a shared vision that is top-notch.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Work closely with creative leadership to concept and plan execution
</li></ul><ul><li>Develop conceptual and stylistic direction and execute same for a wide variety of communications projects
</li></ul><ul><li>Create campaign ideas for case studies, pitches and client presentations
</li></ul><ul><li>Lead and participate in creative brainstorms
</li></ul><ul><li>Develop tactics which bring creative concepts to life and achieve program objectives
</li></ul><ul><li>Review and edit files and drive client approval process
</li></ul><ul><li>Manage time and establish priorities while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing demands
</li></ul><ul><li>Work effectively with external vendors and internal colleagues to complete projects within timeframe and budget
</li></ul><ul><li>Manage multiple jobs simultaneously
</li></ul><ul><li>Work closely with a project manager to schedule projects and coordinate production

</li></ul>Qualifications:
<ul><li>A BFA in Fine Arts, Advertising or Graphic Design, strong understanding of graphic design, strong layout and composition with a keen eye for typography
