Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Design and implement software front end application enhancements and bug fixes given general instructions</li><li>
Participates in iteration and release planning</li><li>
Adheres to core design and testing principles</li><li>
Understands and interprets detailed technical specifications</li><li>
Follows and updates the design specifications as needed</li><li>
Learns and follow standards, processes and procedures</li><li>
Authors supporting documentation</li><li>
Prepares own work for inclusion in the release/deployment management process</li><li>
Participates in peer technical reviews</li><li>
Troubleshoots identified problems and provides support and follow-up for issues</li><li>
Completes assigned design tasks within the time allotted</li></ul>
Mentors Software Developers<ul><li>
Responsible for the quality of work that the team members perform.</li><li>
Coordinates with other IT and business teams.</li><li>
Trains other developers on standards, policies, and procedures.</li></ul>
Supports Software Applications<ul><li>
Coordinates issue resolution process</li><li>
Provides support and follow-up for issues.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Strong knowledge of SQL, specifically with Microsoft SQL Server</li><li>
AI-first driven planning, development, and testing; familiar with recent models, tools, and techniques</li><li>
Knowledge of basic statistics</li><li>
Strong software engineering skills on the .Net Core platform</li><li>
Web front-end technologies including Angular/React, JavaScript and CSS</li><li>
Experience in JSON and API development methodologies.</li><li>
Experience in containerization(dockers/Kubernetes) preferred</li><li>
Experience in CI/CD preferred</li><li>
GitLab experience highly desirable</li><li>
Experience with test driven development</li><li>
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills</li><li>
Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.</li><li>
Thorough understanding of data structures and object-oriented techniques</li><li>
Project task multi-tasking and prioritization, Individual time management</li></ul>
Experience:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or comparable broad-based work experience is required. Advance training or certification in software design/development is an advantage.</li><li>
6+ years experience as a Data Engineer or Database Administrator (DBA)</li><li>
6+ years experience in software development</li><li>
Code reviews and code review participation</li><li>
Ability to communicate best practice solutions to other developers</li><li>
Ability to present technical ideas and work with development teams to identify best practice solutions</li></ul>

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $130,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
