THE IDEAL CANDIDATE</b></p><ul><li>
Detail-oriented, hands-on Assistant Controller with a solid background in retail or manufacturing preferred</li><li>

Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness</li><li>

7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience with several years in a supervisory role</li><li>
Thorough understanding of US GAAP</li><li>
Knowledge of manufacturing industry and retail experience strongly preferred</li><li>
Cost accounting experience in consumer products manufacturing environment preferred</li><li>
Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including significant relevant experience</li><li>

Red Light Management

<div><p>The RLM Accounting Assistant will be responsible for the following items-</p>
<ul>
<li><i>Accounts Receivable Support
</i><ul><li>Ensure revenue items are posted correctly and in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Emphasis on posting priority client revenue items.</li>
</ul></li><li><i>Concur + Expense Processing
</i><ul><li>Work with team to assist in managing Employees&rsquo; timely submission of Expense Reports</li>
<li>Daily Review + Processing of Reports in the approval process</li>
</ul></li><li><i>Artist Billbacks</i>
<ul><li>Weekly preparation and distribution of pre-bill reports for managerial approval</li>
<li>Creation and submission of approved invoices to respective clients</li>
<li>Processing of AR adjustments for changes in billing</li>
<li>Performing timely follow-ups on outstanding invoices to support team with effective collections</li>
</ul></li><li><i>Accounts Payable Activities</i>
<ul><li>Process vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate check payments.</li>
<li>Verify and reconcile payment documentation and vendor records to ensure compliance with internal policies</li>
</ul></li><li><i>Accounts Receivable Support
</i><ul><li>Ensure revenue items are posted correctly and in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Preparing and depositing physical checks received</li>
</ul></li><li><i>Other Special Projects and tasks upon request</i></li>

<p><b>Requirements:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Proficiency working with various accounting systems and Excel (as well as the rest of the Microsoft Office Suite)</li>
<li>Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, timely, and professionally</li>
<li>Experience working with SAP Concur Expense, QuickBooks, and Sage Intacct (Preferred)</li>
<li>Highly motivated self-starter, with well-developed critical thinking skills and ability to independently analyze complex data sets.</li>
<li>Passionate about music or interest in the music industry</li>
</ul>
