The Clinical Research Intake Coordinator is responsible for supporting the intake, prescreening, and initial coordination activities for patients being considered for Phase I&ndash;III interventional trials and observational research studies. This position oversees subject level intake workflows, including reviewing medical histories, assessing preliminary eligibility based on protocol criteria, coordinating prescreening activities, and serving as an early patient point-of-contact. The Intake Coordinator engages directly with patients and families to provide education about research participation, address questions, and guide them through the initial steps of the clinical trial process. The role ensures timely collection and organization of eligibility documentation, maintains prescreening and enrollment trackers, and collaborates closely with research and clinical teams to support efficient and compliant trial enrollment.</div><div></div><div>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Conduct clinical prescreening by reviewing medical histories, current medications, and protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria to assess preliminary eligibility.
</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for referred patients, providing clear communication, guidance, and education on clinical trial processes and timelines.
</li><li>Coordinate scheduling of prescreening appointments, provider consults, and required diagnostic or laboratory evaluations.
</li><li>Collaborate with referring providers, treating physicians, and research teams to validate eligibility and ensure continuity of clinical and research care.
</li><li>Facilitate patient navigation through the enrollment pathway, addressing barriers, answering questions, and supporting informed decision-making.
</li><li>Manage intake workflows for early phase studies, including real-time monitoring of slot availability and patient queue management aligned with sponsor timelines.
</li><li>Obtain necessary medical records, prior therapy documentation, and required authorizations in accordance with institutional and sponsor requirements.
</li><li>Accurately abstract, document, and track prescreening and enrollment data in CRFs, EMR, and research databases; maintain compliant research files and logs.
</li><li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (lab, radiology, pathology, pharmacy, and clinical operations) to ensure protocol-required procedures are completed.
</li><li>Participate in team meetings, study start-up activities, and provide research coordination support during staffing gaps.</li><li>
Support process improvement initiatives by identifying workflow gaps, proposing solutions, and contributing to the development of standardized intake and prescreening procedures.
</li><li>Ensure compliance with institutional policies, GCP/ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements throughout all intake, prescreening, and enrollment activities.</li></ul>
Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</div><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent.
 
</li><li>Minimum two to three years&rsquo; experience in a clinical research or cancer registry environment with regulatory or human research protections.

The Clinical Research Coordinator II (CRC II) is responsible for day-to-day management of oncology clinical trials. The position will oversee all subject-level study workflows including screening patients for eligibility, coordinating and tracking patient visits and procedures, and creating and maintaining research documentation. The position interfaces with the clinic, providers, investigators, and teams across the clinical research enterprise.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Conduct daily clinical operations of assigned research studies in accordance with study protocols, GCP guidelines, applicable regulatory requirements and institutional policies.</li><li>
Coordinate patient enrollment and participation by reviewing study candidates&rsquo; medical records for eligibility, initiating enrollment, ensuring informed consent, and maintaining accurate enrollment records.
</li><li>Schedule patient clinic visits and on-going study visits; ensure compliance with study protocols with respect to clinical procedures, laboratory tests and other patient activities; may administer study questionnaires and ensure drug self-administration accountability with patients.</li><li>
Complete clinical requisition forms as instructed, assemble kits for patient visits, transport laboratory samples and ensure samples are processed and shipped according to study guidelines; track and maintain research supplies.</li><li>
Identify, track and confirm billable activities for patients; work with internal finance team to assist in reviewing clinic charges to ensure billing compliance.</li><li>
Act as protocol liaison with clinical teams, patients, and providers on study related topics.</li><li>

The Department of Emergency Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for a Research Study Coordinator 1 to participate in clinical research at Harborview Medical Center (HMC).
About this Opportunity
Reporting to the Research Coordinator 4, the Research Study Coordinator 1 is responsible for performing work in support of clinical and health services research in EMS. Research projects will cover a wide range of clinical pathways with a focus on out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, traumatic injuries, strokes, prehospital whole blood, advanced airway management, and opioids. The research study coordinator 1 will work in a team environment that includes faculty, fellows, medical students, and other key stakeholders within Seattle Fire Department and the University of Washington&rsquo;s Paramedic Training program.
This position requires research experience. The team must have confidence in the processes used and the work products of this individual. They also must be able to rely on his/her/their ability to move projects forward with professionalism, accuracy, and timeliness. This individual must have a working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative approaches to data collection, management, analysis, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

The Clinical Research Coordinator III coordinates all aspects of clinical research trials except those that require medical expertise or licensure.</div><div></div><div> 
The Clinical Research Coordinator III is a senior coordinator role on the UW Phase 1 Clinical Trial Program that supports oncology clinical trials conducted at the Fred Hutch/University of Washington Cancer Consortium. The position will work directly with hospital, clinic and research staff in the development, implementation and management of clinical trials. The position is responsible for the collection, coordination, processing, and quality control of clinical trial data in accordance with protocols subject to FDA oversight.  The Tapscott Lab is composed of an interactive group of scientists investigating gene transcription in a chromatin context in normal development and disease. Areas of current interest focus on how abnormal activation of early developmental programs alters gene expression and cell fate in human diseases, including facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) and certain cancers. The lab focuses on mechanisms spanning epigenetics, transcription, translation, cell cycle regulation, and cell signaling, as well as how diseased cells interact with their environment through RNA/protein secretion and immune evasion. Ongoing projects include CRISPR- and drug-based screens to identify regulators capable of suppressing the disease-causing early developmental program for therapeutic intervention. Findings from model developmental systems are applied to understand human diseases, including cancers and degenerative diseases.

The Department of Psychiatry &amp; Behavioral Sciences within the UW School of Medicine currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Research Coordinator 3.
This position is housed in the University of Washington&rsquo;s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and involves being an integral support to research conducted by faculty in the BRiTE Center, the School of Medicine&rsquo;s flagship center focused on digital mental health. Led by Dr. Dror Ben-Zeev, the BRiTE Center is an exciting, mission driven, highly collaborative, and intellectually stimulating work environment. BRiTE faculty and staff work in teams taking on challenging projects in the U.S. and globally. The position will involve collaborations with research groups within the center, across the country, and internationally. The BRiTE Center Research Coordinator 3 position will be the staff supervisor and lead research coordinator of multi-year programs of research dedicated to deploying digital health interventions designed to improve mental health outcomes in the U.S. and West Africa.
This position has a high degree of responsibility for achieving the research and training goals of multiple initiatives simultaneously. The research coordinator will be required to understand and be able to assist in construction and direction of digital mental health studies conducted in the U.S. and in Low-and-Middle Income-Countries (LMIC). The position may require domestic and international travel. Activities will involve oversight of participant recruitment, human subject protection, field staff hiring and training, research data management and quality assurance, grant writing support, translation of research aims into field methods, staff reorganization for different phases of research projects, assistance in digital health development activities/interaction with commercial technology developers, and co-development of training programs for junior faculty and diverse trainees. The research coordinator must also understand the complexities associated with conducting mental health services research in public mental health services settings with participants from diverse ethnic, cultural, and national backgrounds. Additional complexities come from: Working with multiple Principal Investigators / faculty; Managing IRB requirements; managing database needs and construction and the staff who utilize them; Summary and presentation of data to analysts; General trouble shooting (e.g., study problem identification and problem-solving solutions); Liaising with community, national, and international partners.
This position is critical to advancing the research and community impact missions of the university, the department of psychiatry and behavioral sciences, and the BRiTE Center by managing multiple research projects focused on improving mental health outcomes and ethical care of individuals with serious mental illness.
Responsibilities

The Department of Neurology has an outstanding opportunity for 100% FTE Research Coordinator 1.
About This Opportunity
Reporting to the Principal Investigator the Research Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of research projects that focus on the understanding, treatment, and outcomes of stroke. This individual will develop and review research tools and protocols, maintain IRB approvals and consent forms, and participate in data collection and data management for NIH and industry sponsored projects. Additional duties may include, but are not limited to, coordinating multiple data collection efforts with other institutions, designing the phases of the research projects, recruiting and overseeing recruitment of human subjects, writing and editing reports, data management, and preparing conference presentations and manuscripts for publication.
This position requires the ability to integrate information from multiple sources to ensure that all research proposals meet the requirements of the University, the Food and Drug Administration, the National Institutes of Health and the study sponsor. This individual will develop procedures that ensure that all research meets or exceeds these requirements. There are multiple resources available within the University system (e.g. Grant and Contract Services, Institutional Review Board, Office of Industry Relations) to help in this process, but ultimately, the work must be done independently and in a resourceful manner to expedite the research objectives. This individual is also responsible for organizing and facilitating sponsor-initiated, FDA-initiated, and institution-initiated audits of study data. They will also be responsible for maintaining communication with researchers at other universities.
The individual in this position will aid in furthering the academic pursuit of the UW by contributing their time and knowledge base to our research studies.

Patient Management - 50%
