 Algolia is seeking a talented, experienced Social Media Manager to manage our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating copy, executing video content, managing posts across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and responding to our audience (in collaboration with our Developer Relations team), managing company image and messaging in a cohesive way.
 
 
 As Social Media Manager, we expect you to be up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. Equally, you will be both comfortable and experienced working in a fast-moving technology company (ideally with knowledge of API technology). You will have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company&rsquo;s views thoughtfully and creatively.
 
 
 Additional responsibilities include overseeing Algolia&rsquo;s presence across key brand and recruitment platforms (e.g., Glassdoor, Comparably, Fairygoodboss, etc.) and ensuring the company is perceived in the best light possible. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on revenue. You will serve as a primary research consultant to internal leadership and external clients, bringing authority and clarity to performance metrics and measurement strategy. With deep expertise across digital, streaming, social, and creator media, you will equip our Sales, Pricing, and Advanced Advertising teams with the intelligence needed to inform critical business decisions, sharpen the Upfront and scatter pitch, and win in the marketplace.<div>

1. Strategic Vision and Industry Positioning<ul><li>
Synthesize market intelligence, competitive research, and industry benchmarks to articulate FOX's unique value across linear, streaming, digital, social, and creator advertising environments.</li><li>
Monitor and interpret shifts in the media and measurement landscape, including the evolution of social platform monetization, creator economy growth, and streaming audience fragmentation.</li><li>
Evaluate and champion next-generation research tools, vendor frameworks, and methodologies to continuously strengthen FOX's measurement capabilities.</li><li>
Develop case studies, thought leadership materials, and sales collateral that reinforce FOX's position as a premium, multi-platform advertising partner.</li><li>
Represent FOX at industry events, conferences, and client meetings as a credible voice on advertising research, digital measurement, and creator and social media analytics.</li></ul>
2. Pre-Sales Research, Client Consultation and Presentation<ul><li>
Lead proactive pre-sales research efforts, surfacing consumer, category, and platform insights that open doors, sharpen positioning, and support Upfront strategies.</li><li>
Act as a trusted research consultant to clients and agencies, identifying their KPIs and recommending measurement solutions tailored to campaigns running across digital, streaming, social, and creator touchpoints.</li><li>
Collaborate daily with Account Executives, Sales Managers, and VPs to build compelling pitch decks and translate proprietary data into clear, revenue-driving narratives.</li><li>
Provide strategic research support for RFP responses, giving the sales team a competitive edge with data-backed insights and storytelling.</li><li>
Design and deliver polished client-facing presentations covering campaign results, category trends, creator performance analysis, and strategic recommendations.</li></ul>
3. Cross-Platform Measurement and Data Integrity<ul><li>
Own cross-platform data integrity by maintaining and evolving the models used to build audience composition and campaign estimates across linear, streaming, digital, social, and creator inventory.</li><li>
Manage the daily pipeline of multi-platform ad-hoc data requests, delivering accurate, actionable responses under tight deadlines.</li><li>
Lead measurement strategy for creator and social campaigns, encompassing reach, frequency, engagement, brand lift, and content-level performance metrics.</li><li>
Advise Sales partners on the right research solutions for each advertiser, ensuring alignment with client KPIs regardless of platform or format.</li><li>
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and materials that tell a clear performance story across all media types.</li><li>
Manage and grow relationships with third-party measurement vendors, ensuring data quality, consistency, and alignment with FOX standards and business goals.</li></ul>
4. Cross-Functional Partnership and Team Leadership<ul><li>
Serve as a connective research resource across Ad Sales, Marketing, Social, Advanced Advertising, and Research teams, ensuring consistency in methodology, insights, and external messaging.</li><li>
Champion process improvements and workflow efficiencies that raise the quality and speed of research output.</li><li>
Mentor and develop junior team members, building a culture of analytical rigor, intellectual curiosity, and effective data storytelling.</li></ul><div>
WHAT YOU WILL NEED</div>
Experience<ul><li>
Analytical experience in media or advertising research, with a demonstrated focus on digital, streaming, social, and creator ad sales environments.</li><li>
Proven track record supporting the pre-sales pipeline, pitch process, and client-facing measurement strategy at a media company, agency, or research firm.</li><li>
Meaningful experience with brand lift studies, attribution methodologies, and cross-platform measurement spanning linear, streaming, digital, and social.</li><li>
Hands-on background in creator video insights, influencer analytics, and social platform measurement across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.</li></ul>
Client-Facing and Sales Support Skills<ul><li>
