 Study Regulations - Aware of study regulatory status and keeps an up to date copy of regulatory documents. Assists with the informed consent process and ensure that the patient/subject fully understands what is required of them throughout the study. Follows through regularly with the patient/subjects and reminds them of visits and compliance.

 Clinical Competency: Position may require competency in performing EKG, phlebotomy technique, centrifuge, handling, storing and shipping of specimens. Clinical training and didactic competency tests may be required to perform basic procedures as part of position expectations. In house training and certification will be provided. Other trainings and competencies may be included as required.

 Continuous Learning: Position requires ongoing continuing education in all areas of research development. It is expected that the employee demonstrates proof of ongoing research education on a yearly basis. Training programs are provided through the SOM.

 Reporting and Analysis - Gathers and compiles data and assists in consolidating/analyzing data for presentation to sponsoring and regulatory agencies. Provides reports to all necessary parties (e.g., the principal investigator, sponsoring agency, etc.) on the progress of the study as needed. Conduct primary analysis to data collected. Formulates, prepares database and generates preliminary measurement reports for review by the PI.

 Grants - Assists in the preparation of grant applications and related activities such as developing grants proposals and fund raising activities. Collects and organizes required paperwork for submission if required. Follows up and coordinates resolution of all issues progress reports to the sponsors to fund medical research in the division.

 Budgets - May develop draft budgets and submit to the Principal Investigator. Assists in the preparation of funding reports to agencies. Helps to identify new potential sponsors/agents for trials and researches as assigned.

 Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

 Human Subjects' Research - If applicable, updates and submits necessary documents required by the NYU Institutional Board (IRB), NYU Office of Clinical Trials and any other appropriate parties in order to obtain approval to conduct human subjects research. Secures accurate signatures and forwards documents and/or forms to appropriate destination. Might prepare and submit monthly enrollment statistics to the Office of Clinical Trials and provide other information in timely manner, as necessary.

Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as World, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications. Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems. About the Role

Neura Health is expanding its care model into behavioral health, and we&rsquo;re looking for our first Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to help us build this vertical from the ground up. Given the high prevalence of co-morbid psychiatric conditions among our neurology patient population &mdash; including anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD alongside diagnoses like migraine, epilepsy, and memory disorders &mdash; this role is both clinically vital and strategically critical.

As the first PMHNP, you will provide high-quality telehealth psychiatric care to Neura patients, working within our multidisciplinary care team. This is a part-time contract role (minimum 8 hours per week) with significant growth potential as we scale our behavioral health vertical. Multi-state licensure is strongly preferred &mdash; the more states you are licensed in, the greater your impact.

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Conduct comprehensive telehealth psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for Neura&rsquo;s neurology patient population</li>
<li>Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitoring for efficacy and side effects in the context of neurological co-morbidities</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with Neura&rsquo;s neurologists, nurse practitioners, and care coaches to deliver integrated, whole-patient care</li>
<li>Document all clinical encounters in the EMR accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to Neura&rsquo;s documentation standards</li>
<li>Participate in care team case reviews, clinical huddles, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives</li>
<li>Maintain multi-state licensure and practice within your licensed states; actively pursue additional state licensure as the patient panel grows</li>
<li>Dedicate a minimum of 8 clinical hours per week to Neura, with the expectation to scale hours as the behavioral health vertical expands</li>
<li>Help shape and inform Neura&rsquo;s behavioral health clinical protocols, workflows, and patient experience as our first PMHNP hire</li>
<li>Stay current with evidence-based practices in psychiatry, telepsychiatry, and the intersection of neurology and behavioral health</li>

Requirements

<li>Current, unrestricted PMHNP licensure in at least New York state; multi-state licensure strongly preferred (the more states, the better)</li>
<li>Board certification as a PMHNP-BC (or ARNP with psychiatric specialty)</li>
<li>Active DEA registration and prescriptive authority; ability to obtain DEA registration in additional states</li>
<li>Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a PMHNP, with prior telehealth experience strongly preferred</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience treating patients with psychiatric co-morbidities alongside chronic conditions, ideally in neurology, primary care, or integrated care settings</li>
<li>Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) and telehealth platforms</li>
<li>Ability to commit to a minimum of 8 patient care hours per week, with flexibility to scale as volume grows</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills for both patient care and cross-functional team collaboration</li>

About the role:

You will determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, management of donor adverse events, review of laboratory test results, and donor notification of unsuitable test results. The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) works under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager as applicable) for operational guidance and under the management of the Center Physician for medical issues. The Medical Support Specialist will be familiar with regulations of the plasma collection industry or a manufacturing environment. The Medical Support Specialist follows guidance provided by BioLife Medical Affairs and provides center level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS).
How you will contribute<ul><li>
You will determine donor eligibility; to include, proper management of informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).</li><li>
You will evaluate donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the development of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.</li><li>
You will refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.</li><li>
You will support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.</li><li>
You will manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.</li><li>
You can be a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.</li></ul>
