You&rsquo;ll be invited to collaborate on projects where your design approach and vision are the perfect fit. <b>Prior to applying, we encourage you to visit </b><b>www.roomme.ca</b> <b>to get a sense of our direction and ensure that your aesthetic and approach align with ours.</b></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Meet with clients to discuss their design preferences, needs, and budget.</li><li>Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and space plans.</li><li><b>Source and select furniture, fabrics, accessories, and lighting.</b></li><li><b>Create detailed design plans, including colour schemes, furniture layouts, and decorative elements.</b></li><li>Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and services.</li><li>Oversee the implementation of design projects, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices.</li><li>Maintain project budgets and timelines.</li><li>Attend sourcing trips (ie. art galleries, furniture stores, etc)</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.</li><li>Proven experience as an Interior Designer.</li><li>Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and creativity.</li><li><b>Must be able to travel locally and legally throughout the US and Canada.</b></li><li><b>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</b></li><li><b>Highly personable with the ability to develop strong relationships</b></li><li>Must have access to and proficiency in design software (e.g., 3DS Max, Corona Renderer, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).</li><li>Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.</li><li>Knowledge of current design trends and materials.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Proficiency with Mac Operating System, IOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications</li><li>Ability to lift and move small to medium items up to 25 lbs.</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Familiarity with sustainable and eco-friendly design practices.</li><li>Knowledge of Art History</li></ul><p><b>Benefits:</b></p><ul><li>Professional development opportunities.</li><li>Creative and collaborative work environment.</li></ul><p><b>Pay:</b></p><ul><li>$35/hour</li></ul><p><b>How to Apply:</b></p><p>Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and portfolio.
