 Responsibilities

 Perform authorization, intake duties, insurance verification and eligibility.

 Answer client inquires, take referrals, and help schedule home care services.

 Assist in managing medical records.

 Facilitate the communication functions of the business office.
 </li>

 Adhere to all policies and procedures of the company.

 Enter new patients in scheduling system and updates to patient information as they occur.

 Communicate with clinicians regarding admissions, hospitalizations, discharges expiration and occurrences.

 Assists in managing clients including staffing, scheduling, operations and administration.
 </li>

 Track and maintain records for Authorization department
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Sort and process incoming reports before putting data into processing software
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Verify accuracy of data before transcribing
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Scan documents and saved in database to keep records of essential organizational information
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Respond to employee questions and requests for information in a timely and knowledgeable fashion
 </li>

 Enter scheduled appointments for clinicians to provide ongoing homecare healthcare services
 </li>

 Manage payroll data entry and processing for approximately 23 clinicians as well as comply with predetermined company guidelines.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Maintain accuracy, completeness and security for medical records and health information.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Prepare a variety of different written communications, reports and documents.
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Communicate effectively with staff and clients demonstrating respect, friendliness and willingness to help wherever needed
 </li>

 Identify and verify insurance coverage of home health care services
 </li>

 Obtains and documents prior authorization for home care services from insurance providers
 </li>

 Maintains liaison with hospital and insurance personnel, providing information and education on organization services, coverage issues and related areas

 Collect and maintain statistical data on all referral and submits them regularly as required
 </li>

 Attends meetings and participates on committees as required.

Establish processes to monitor and track risks on an ongoing basis. Develop risk reporting mechanisms to provide timely and accurate information to management and stakeholders. Highlight emerging risks and trends for proactive risk management.</li><li>
Develop reports and analysis to support business decisions on enterprise programs.</li></ul>
Required Experience, Education and Skills<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination or education and experience.</li><li>
6+ years of proven experience in insurance, financial analysis, actuarial, underwriting, or product management required.</li></ul>

Prior experience in Enterprise Risk Management strongly preferred.</li><li>
Strong organizational and project management skills to accurately complete complex projects within tight deadlines, including ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>

Experience working with operational / product / financial measures and models, including analysis of results.</li><li>

Ability to build business case scenarios.</li><li>
People-oriented with excellent communication skills (oral and written modes).</li><li>
Relevant certifications are preferred, including: Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), Chartered Property/Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Financial Risk Management (FRM), or Associate of Casualty Actuary Society (ACAS).</li><li>
Understanding of CSAA IG business strategy.</li><li>
Broad actuarial skillset with deep understanding of pricing, reserving, ERM, statutory accounting, and risk and return concepts.</li><li>
Actively shapes our company culture (e.g., participating in employee resource groups, volunteering, etc.).</li><li>
Lives into cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters: helping onboard new team members, building relationships, etc.).</li><li>
Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings.</li><li>
Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etc.</li></ul>

The national average salary range for this position is $99,855.00-$110,950.00. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on work location. The starting pay range for this position across all the states we hire in is $99,855.00-$133,250.00. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 10% of eligible pay.
