 Patient Care: Manage patient intakes, ensuring accurate information is recorded, including vital signs, medical history, and patient concerns.

 Venipuncture &amp; Specimen Collection: Perform blood draws, urine dipsticks, stool collection, and rapid tests such as Strep, Flu, COVID, and RSV, ensuring proper labeling and handling of all specimens.

 Diagnostic Testing: Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing, and assist in other diagnostic procedures under the direct supervision of a Physician or APP.
 </li>
 <li>
 Clinical Assistance: Prepare patients and exam rooms for visits and procedures, and assist providers during physical exams and in-office treatments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Instrument Sterilization: Clean, sterilize, and maintain medical equipment and instruments to ensure patient safety and infection control.

 <li>
 Laboratory Support: Operate and maintain lab equipment such as CBC analyzers and urinalysis machines; prepare, process, and store specimens appropriately (room temp, refrigerated, or frozen).
 </li>
 <li>
 Quality Control: Run and document various lab tests including glucose monitoring, PT/INR, urine pregnancy, and fecal occult blood; conduct and troubleshoot quality control procedures and report critical values.

 Electronic Documentation: Utilize Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to enter, verify, and manage lab orders and clinical data.
 </li>

 Reference Lab Coordination: Package and send out specimens to external labs such as Labcorp and Quest, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

 Communication &amp; Teamwork: Maintain professional communication with providers, staff, and patients, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Job Responsibilities:

About the role:
Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. Here, a commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, management of donor adverse events, review of laboratory test results, and donor notification of unsuitable test results. The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) works under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager as applicable) for operational guidance and under the management of the Center Physician for medical issues. The Medical Support Specialist will be familiar with regulations of the plasma collection industry or a manufacturing environment. The Medical Support Specialist follows guidance provided by BioLife Medical Affairs and provides center level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS).
How you will contribute<ul><li>
You will determine donor eligibility; to include, proper management of informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).</li><li>
You will evaluate donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the development of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.</li><li>
You will refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.</li><li>
You will support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.</li><li>
You will manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.</li><li>
You can be a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.</li></ul>

Maintain ongoing communication regarding curriculum updates, safety protocols&mdash;including biohazard procedures&mdash;and required student waivers to support program integrity and regulatory compliance.3. Establish and Maintain Effective Learning Environments: Collaborate with CPS staff to implement and sustain effective classroom management strategies across in-person and online learning environments. Apply knowledge of the nursing process, standards of care, and sound clinical judgment in all instructional activities. Ensure classrooms and clinical labs are safe, fully equipped, and compliant with program requirements and national and state standards, preparing students for success on the NYSDOH Certified Nurse Aide examination.4. Compliant Curriculum Design and Optimization: Partner with CPS staff to design, implement, and continuously refine standards-aligned curricula and syllabi that support course and program objectives and comply with NYSED and NYSDOH requirements. Utilize a strategic blend of instructor-led and student-centered teaching methods, incorporating authentic, high-quality assessments that measure student learning, skill development, and competency mastery. Assessment and Record-Keeping: Evaluate student learning through assignments, skills practice, and formal assessments. About the Role

Neura Health is expanding its care model into behavioral health, and we&rsquo;re looking for our first Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to help us build this vertical from the ground up. Given the high prevalence of co-morbid psychiatric conditions among our neurology patient population &mdash; including anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD alongside diagnoses like migraine, epilepsy, and memory disorders &mdash; this role is both clinically vital and strategically critical.

As the first PMHNP, you will provide high-quality telehealth psychiatric care to Neura patients, working within our multidisciplinary care team. This is a part-time contract role (minimum 8 hours per week) with significant growth potential as we scale our behavioral health vertical. Multi-state licensure is strongly preferred &mdash; the more states you are licensed in, the greater your impact.

Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Conduct comprehensive telehealth psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for Neura&rsquo;s neurology patient population</li>
<li>Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitoring for efficacy and side effects in the context of neurological co-morbidities</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with Neura&rsquo;s neurologists, nurse practitioners, and care coaches to deliver integrated, whole-patient care</li>
<li>Document all clinical encounters in the EMR accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to Neura&rsquo;s documentation standards</li>
<li>Participate in care team case reviews, clinical huddles, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives</li>
<li>Maintain multi-state licensure and practice within your licensed states; actively pursue additional state licensure as the patient panel grows</li>
<li>Dedicate a minimum of 8 clinical hours per week to Neura, with the expectation to scale hours as the behavioral health vertical expands</li>
<li>Help shape and inform Neura&rsquo;s behavioral health clinical protocols, workflows, and patient experience as our first PMHNP hire</li>
<li>Stay current with evidence-based practices in psychiatry, telepsychiatry, and the intersection of neurology and behavioral health</li>

Requirements

<li>Current, unrestricted PMHNP licensure in at least New York state; multi-state licensure strongly preferred (the more states, the better)</li>
<li>Board certification as a PMHNP-BC (or ARNP with psychiatric specialty)</li>
<li>Active DEA registration and prescriptive authority; ability to obtain DEA registration in additional states</li>
<li>Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a PMHNP, with prior telehealth experience strongly preferred</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience treating patients with psychiatric co-morbidities alongside chronic conditions, ideally in neurology, primary care, or integrated care settings</li>
<li>Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) and telehealth platforms</li>
<li>Ability to commit to a minimum of 8 patient care hours per week, with flexibility to scale as volume grows</li>
