 GQ is seeking a motivated, highly plugged-in associate video producer and editor to help create quick-turn, high-performing video across our social media channels&mdash;primarily TikTok and Instagram, with support for additional platforms as needed. This role is for someone who lives in the social ecosystem, understands the worlds of style and culture that drive GQ&rsquo;s coverage, and is excited to grow within a global media company&mdash;building craft, instincts, and influence over time.
 
 
 You&rsquo;ll collaborate closely with GQ&rsquo;s editorial, social, video, talent, and creative teams to bring GQ&rsquo;s franchises, cultural coverage, tentpole moments, and shoots to life in vertical video. You&rsquo;ll be hands-on in post-production and comfortable stepping into production when needed&mdash;turning ideas into finished edits quickly, shaping stories with strong editorial judgment, and using performance data to refine creative decisions.  Primary Responsibilities

 Coordinate with the Director of Social Originals and Senior Director of Social Media to produce and edit social-first storytelling.

 Translate GQ storytelling into platform-native social video that feels timely, smart, and unmistakably GQ, using a mix of original footage, repurposed clips, and archival/library material.

 Edit quick-turn vertical videos for TikTok/IG, optimizing for watch time, retention, and shareability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and maintain efficient post-production workflows (templates, graphics packages, versioning systems, captions, exports) to support fast publishing.

 Partner with editorial stakeholders to create vertical videos to support events, big stories, interviews, and cultural moments by shooting and editing social video.

 <li>
 Support production on select shoots: help plan simple setups, capture clean footage and audio, direct talent (when applicable), and deliver assets ready for edit.

 Own day-to-day coordination of the social video pipeline (incoming requests, priorities, deadlines, versioning, approvals, and publishing handoff).
