About the Role
We&rsquo;re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, creative, and performance-minded Paid Social Video Editor to join our Growth Marketing team and help scale standout, high-converting video ads across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, and beyond.
This is a performance-driven role. We&rsquo;re specifically seeking someone who has edited short-form video ads for live Meta and/or TikTok campaigns and understands how creative decisions impact performance.
Reporting to our Manager of Creative Strategy and working closely with our Senior Manager of Brand &amp; Partnerships Marketing, you&rsquo;ll turn raw footage, creator assets, and briefs into polished, conversion-focused video creatives - iterating quickly, testing relentlessly, and elevating every frame for performance.
You&rsquo;ll be instrumental in building a steady pipeline of thumb-stopping ads: crafting strong hooks, tightening pacing, designing clean motion graphics, and adapting edits for multiple placements (Stories/Reels/Feed, Shorts, in-stream). You&rsquo;re a strong editor with a sharp eye for detail and a solid understanding of what drives results in paid social, eager to translate performance insights into smarter tests and stronger iterations.

Partner with our Manager of Creative Strategy to turn performance insights into high-performing paid social video ads for Meta, YouTube, and emerging channels</li><li>
Craft conversion-focused edits with strong hooks, pacing, storytelling, and clear CTAs</li><li>
Deliver 10&ndash;20 weekly creative assets based on performance insights (70% net-new, 30% iterations)</li><li>
Take high-production RAW camera footage from delivery to edit-ready. Transcoding, syncing, organizing, and building optimized working files/proxies so assets are workable for paid social</li><li>
Translate creative briefs, loose concepts, and raw footage into high-performing paid social edits - executing with precision when direction is clear and taking ownership when it isn&rsquo;t</li><li>
Add design and copy support (on-screen text, captions, simple motion) to improve clarity and conversion</li></ul>

Incorporating edits from supervisors</li><li>
Utilizing real-time analytics tools to track the success of photo &amp; video-driven stories</li><li>
Creating and updating slideshows to capture important and compelling events</li><li>
Communicating with news professionals in an assignment desk setting</li><li>
Maintaining database of contacts and story ideas</li><li>
Working with all verticals (assisting) including, Entertainment, US News, Lifestyle, Business, and World Teams by pitching visual stories and pulling in wire and partner content</li><li>
Monitoring social media platforms and forums for the latest breaking or trending news items of interest to Fox News readers</li><li>
Multitasking on tight deadlines in high-pressure environment</li><li>
Prioritizing assignments and meeting deadlines</li></ul>
WHAT YOU WILL NEED<ul><li>
A Bachelor's degree in political science, communications, journalism, graphic arts or other related discipline</li><li>
One year working in daily breaking news environment</li><li>
Ability to work under deadline pressures with editors and reporters</li><li>
Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays</li><li>
Proven creative mind with a great eye for detail</li><li>
Experience in Photoshop, Premiere, Bridge, and/or Lightroom</li><li>
Prior experience working in a DAM, or CMS is highly desired</li><li>
An interest in photography is a plus</li></ul>

 About The Role
 
 
 
 Suno&rsquo;s growth runs on paid social, and paid social runs on creative. This is a hands-on editing role for someone who turns raw footage into ads that stop the scroll on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. You&rsquo;ll take existing clips, creator content, and captured footage and cut them into ad-ready variants built to convert, not just to look good.
 
 
 This is a craft role with real creative latitude. You won&rsquo;t be handed a storyboard and told to assemble it. You&rsquo;ll bring your own hooks, angles, and instincts for what makes someone stop and watch, then move fast to test, iterate, and find what wins. Great work here is measured by performance, and you&rsquo;ll see the results of your edits quickly enough to act on them.

 What You&rsquo;ll Do

 Craft scroll-stopping hooks and tight pacing built to hold attention and drive action.

 Bring original concepts and angles to the table, not just execute against specs.
 </li>

 Produce multiple iterations of winning concepts to feed continuous creative testing.

 Apply native-to-feed technique: dynamic captions, pattern interrupts, on-screen text, and motion graphics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adapt edits across formats and placements (9:16, 1:1, 4:5) for Stories, Reels, and Feed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Turn performance signals into sharper cuts, doubling down on what&rsquo;s working.

 Keep a fast, organized turnaround so fresh creative is always ready to test.

 Compensation
 
 
 
 This is a contract role paying $70 to $90 per hour, depending on experience, at roughly 20 to 40 hours per week.
