The coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Senior Legal Recruiting Manager with the planning and execution of the summer associate program and executing the firm&rsquo;s 1L, 2L and 3L recruiting strategies, including law school engagement initiatives for the New York office.</div>
Duties and Responsibilities:

Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate. The Center for Psychedelic Medicine (CPM) at NYU Langone Health is seeking a Research Coordinator to lead study coordination in an ongoing NIH funded Phase 2, randomized controlled clinical trial for Opioid Use Disorder. The Research Coordinator will also participate in other clinical trials within CPM as needed and work collaboratively with the Research Project Manager (RPM), the Principal Investigator (PI), and the study team to meet study goals. The Research Coordinator will coordinate day-to-day study operations and participant activities. The Research Coordinator will also be responsible for tracking study milestones, managing participant recruitment, and coordinating all study activities in conjunction with the PI and other team members. The candidate will be expected to work with a high level of independence.</p><br>

Study Coordination: Works with the RPM and PI to develop study operations and achieve study goals, including participant recruitment and retention targets. Protocol Compliance: Ensure that study activities are carried out in accordance with the protocol, HIPAA and GCP, including but not limited to participant research visits, follow-up, and required documentation. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of study rationale, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and procedures associated with the study.</p><br>

Budget: Responsible for issuing participant reimbursement and compensation payments as per study protocol. Will maintain participant payment logs and review for accuracy and compliance.</p><br>

Oversight of junior team members: Assist with oversight of junior team members/volunteer training, tasks, and coordination of volunteer schedules.</p><br>

Other: Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.</p><br>

Minimum Qualifications:</b><br>
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration or related field.<br>
Minimum of two years of progressively responsible project coordination experience, preferably in a research setting.
<br>
Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications.<br>
Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills.<br>
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.<br>
Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently.<br>
Commitment to continuous learning as required by department administration.<br>
Ability to operate research related equipment<br>
Ability to work and make decisions independently.<br>
Time management skills and ability to multitask.<br>
Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems: Ability to work well under pressure.</p>
<p><b>
Preferred Qualifications:</b><br>
Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) Certification is preferred (required in some disciplines).<br>
Knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferred.<br>
Experience working in an Academic Medical Center preferred<br>
Phlebotomy experience preferred</p>
