Must have excellent communication skills, handle incoming calls to the practice as well as be proficient with computers.</p><p><b>Work Experience:</b></p><ul><li>Medical office background required<i>.</i></li><li>Athena EMR experience <i>preferred</i>.</li><li>Bilingual in the Spanish language <i>preferred</i>.</li></ul><p><b>Job Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>The Clinical Coordinator supports daily clinical operations by assisting with patient communication, provider follow-up, clinical documentation, and coordination of care.</li><li>Manage clinical inbox messages, patient cases, provider requests, and follow-up tasks in a timely manner.</li><li>Coordinate care needs between providers, medical assistants, scheduling, front desk, insurance verification, and outside facilities.</li><li>Assist with lab, imaging, referral, medical record, and medication-related follow-up.</li><li>Communicate with patients regarding clinical instructions, follow-up needs, lab orders, imaging orders, and provider-directed updates.</li><li>Escalate urgent, incomplete, or time-sensitive concerns to the appropriate provider or manager.</li><li>Support specialty workflows such as dialysis documentation, hospital follow-ups, access center referrals, and outside provider communication as needed.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation while following clinic policies, HIPAA guidelines, and established workflows.</li></ul><p>This position requires strong attention to detail, professional communication, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced specialty practice setting.</p><p><b>Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Knowledge of clinical office policies, procedures, and healthcare workflows.</li><li>Ability to gather, review, and document patient-related information accurately.</li><li>Strong organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.</li><li>Excellent communication, patient service, and teamwork skills.</li><li>Ability to coordinate with providers, staff, patients, and outside facilities.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.</li><li>Experience with electronic medical records preferred.</li><li>Must maintain confidentiality and remain HIPAA compliant at all times.</li></ul><p><b>Salary:</b></p><ul><li>Salary will be commensurate with experience.</li></ul><p><b>Benefits:</b></p><ul><li>Medical Insurance</li><li>Dental and Vision Insurance</li><li>Retirement Plan- 401K</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul><p><b>Location:</b></p><p>Northwest Houston</p><p>Cypress, TX</p><p>77070, 77429, 77433</p><p><b>Work Hours:</b></p><ul><li>Monday- Friday 8:30-5pm</li></ul><p><i><b>Please only apply if you are qualified for this position.
